Supply Chain Planning Manager

2 days ago Sydney, Australia

Who are we?

From humble beginnings to extraordinary futures, Diageo is centred on crafting incredible stories of ambitious possibilities. From our iconic global brands such as Johnnie Walker, Smirnoff, Tanqueray and Don Julio, to our local homegrown heroes Bundaberg Rum, Ello and Mr Black, we are a team of pioneers, looking to lead the future of our industry and brands from today. At Diageo, you will be a chosen custodian of our brand portfolio, entrusted with building brands for consumers to celebrate with in the moments that matter. Alongside you will be a group of ambitious, passionate and innovative people, who will help you to achieve extraordinary heights. Together, you will help us create a future worth celebrating.

What will your role be?

As Supply Chain Planning Manager, you'll sit at the heart of Diageo Australia Supply, leading the evolution of how we plan, balance and deliver across our locally manufactured and imported portfolio. You'll be accountable for driving the integrated delivery of Service, Inventory and Cash outcomes, while reshaping planning capability, systems and ways of working to support Diageo's future growth.

At a time of significant supply chain complexity and system change, this role plays a pivotal part in modernising our planning landscape - strengthening end-to-end visibility, improving decision quality, and embedding more standardised, automated and scalable planning processes. You'll work closely with the Head of Planning and the broader Supply Leadership Team to uplift planning maturity, support major system initiatives (including S/4HANA & OMP), and ensure planning processes, data and governance enable faster, more confident business decisions.

This is a senior leadership role with a strong on-site presence, leading a diverse team of planners and influencing across Commercial, Make, Logistics, Innovation and Finance. You'll help shape the future of supply planning in Australia - building capability, inspiring change and creating competitive advantage through world-class planning.

What does this role look like for you?

  • Lead end-to-end Supply Chain Planning across locally manufactured and imported portfolios, balancing Service, Inventory and Cash to deliver Diageo's Supply performance metrics.
  • Own national inventory and replenishment strategy, providing clear visibility on inventory health, constraints, working capital and monthly inventory cash forecasts.
  • Drive supply planning transformation, uplifting planning maturity through improved governance, standardised processes, automation and stronger decision-making cadence.
  • Develop robust capacity, production and finished goods plans, ensuring alignment between demand, supply capability and customer service expectations.
  • Play a key leadership role in planning systems implementation and optimisation, supporting major initiatives including SAP S/4HANA while ensuring data integrity and planning systems effectiveness.
  • Partner and influence across the business, working closely with Demand Planning, Commercial, Make, Logistics, Customer Service, Innovation & Brand Change and Finance to align on priorities and trade-offs.
  • Lead world-class supplier and Third-Party Operator (TPO) engagement, strengthening performance, collaboration and resilience across the external supply network.
  • Lead, coach and develop the Supply Planning team, building capability, succession and a high-performance culture aligned to Diageo's leadership behaviours.
