Role Responsibilities:

  • SAP Sophisticated Planning & Optimization (APO - DP, SNP)
  • SAP S/4HANA Supply Chain Integration
  • Supply Chain Management (End-to-End Planning & Order Fulfillment)
  • CIF Integration & Interface Management (APO ↔ S/4HANA / ECC)
  • BW ↔ APO Data Integration & Reporting
  • DevOps / DevSecOps Support & Release Management Model


Experience / skills required:
  • Minimum 8+ years of SAP experience, with strong hands-on expertise in SAP APO
  • Confirmed end-to-end SAP APO implementation experience (not support-only), with the ability to clearly explain hands-on contributions across multiple projects.
  • Experience participating in or leading global SAP APO implementations and rollout programs across regions.
  • Strong functional expertise in SAP APO modules including Demand Planning (DP), Supply Network Planning (SNP).
  • In-depth understanding of Demand Planning concepts such as forecasting, forecast consumption, planning books, macros, and lifecycle planning.
  • Hands-on experience with SNP master data configuration, including products, locations, resources, transportation lanes, and PDS.
  • Expertise in SNP Heuristic and Optimizer configuration, execution, and performance tuning.
  • Validated understanding of ECC integration with APO, including SD, MM, and PP processes and their impact on planning.
  • Good experience with CIF integration, including setup, monitoring, and fix of master and transactional data flows.
  • Hands-on expertise in BW ↔ APO integration, including sales history loads up to planning book level and APO data extraction for reporting.
  • Ability to handle and guide techno-functional delivery, including configuration, functional design, defect resolution, and development coordination.
  • Strong business-facing skills with the ability to translate business requirements into functional specifications and recommend best-practice solutions.
  • Acts as a core SAP team member, working closely with business super users and multi-functional teams to bridge business processes and APO system design.
  • Extensive experience designing, monitoring, and solve interfaces between SAP APO, SAP BW, and SAP ECC (SD/MM), including CIF-based master and transactional data flows and BW data loads/extracts for demand and supply planning.
  • Hands-on experience integrating SAP APO with non-SAP planning systems such as OMP, including inbound and outbound data interfaces, data validation, reconciliation, and coordination with cross-system technical teams.
