TheSupplier ExperienceTeamis responsible to ensure thatSourceToPayprocesses (includingPurchase to Pay andProcurement Operations) are working effectively & efficiently,are well controlled and drive value for Diageo, also ensuring control agenda (SOX compliance) across all areas as well.

This role ispart of theSupplier ExperienceTeam and reportsto theProcurement OperationsTeamLead.

This role acts as the interface betweenGBO &Procurement community (accountable for thepurchasing strategy) ensuring Diageo buysthe rightgoodsand servicesfrom the right supplierat the right price.

Thisis a sourcing specialistrolewhichwilldirectly support theGlobal and Regional Category Procurement teams,STP systems support and suppliers.

Advanced prior experience and understanding of sourcing and contracting processes and practices is essential.

The role will support the overallSourcing process, both for spend owned by GBO end-to-end and spend managed by regional procurement.The role will be responsible to deliver productivity savings (both hard and mitigation) through efficient and effective sourcing processes

This role will work withtheProcurement Category Managersand Specialistsand suppliers and will interface with business usersand seniorstakeholders.

• The timely managementand strategiccoordination ofsourcing requests (RFI, RFP, RFQ)and eAuctionsfrom the business within the agreed SLA's and KPI's

• Looking forand implementingopportunities for continuoussystem and processimprovement

• Providingstrongtechnical support ofeRFXand eAuctionwith strategy, content and overall eventmanagement.

• May provide recommendations on suppliers to participate in sourcing events, based on criteria such as diversity, sustainability, commercial advantage or service delivery.

• Be the champion for their defined area/portfolioof spend, including category and market/country, knowing the right sources of supply, the policies applicable and the compliance requirements as well as the external sources that can be contacted to meet the overall business requirement.

• Buildproactive and positively beneficialrelationshipswithkey stakeholders, being able to influenceupwards

• Play a lead role in the tendering process forSupplyCategory(preferably Packaging)other category expertise is fine as well, designing the process, launchingeSourcingrequests (RFI, RFP, RFQ)andeAuction,post-event analysis,selecting the supplier and sign offcontract'srequirements(if needed)

• Provide advice and direction to businessstakeholdersdirecting them to the correctsourcingchannels.

• Deliver their services in a compliant manner against the agreed ways of working, KPI's and SLA's, driving an environment ofhigh-qualityservice delivery and continuous process and system improvements;contributesactivelyindevelopingstrategicplanto reachtargetKPIs

• Deliver excellent customer experience and provide accurate and efficient responses within the targeted service levelagreement.

• Work and form strong partnerships with the global STPleadership, Procurement,Financeteamsand relateddepartments.

• Support the delivery of theProcurementstrategicplan and seek for incremental opportunities beyond the committed savings target.Recommendnew suppliers as needed, sourcing andtake feedback on sourcing outcomesto meet Diageo business needs as agreed with keystakeholders.

• Build credible, sustainable relationships with internal stakeholders andsuppliers.

• Maintain governance processes andcompliance.

• To develop an in-depth understanding of the key existing contractsinPackagingcategory. Includes understanding of and application of key commercial and legal concepts

• Managingthecomplextendering process forcertainspend on goods and servicesacross the countries and market for which they have defined responsibility.

• Create contract as neededwithin certain defined categories of spend and agreed spendparameters.

• Responsible fordrivingan environment of continuous improvement, lead sourcing related system/process improvements and projects. Drive a culture of compliance andexcellence to ensure the STP process is optimized.Bringing leading tendering practices and templates to procurement and stakeholders.

• SupportSEleadership team to ensure milestones and objectives are always met,taking ownership and representingProcurement OperationsTeam or widerSEscope in projects.

• Degree educated preferably in a business orProcurement related fieldorrelevant commercial experience in a consumer products environment.

• 6+ years ofexperienceinProcurementandSourcing, includingbut not limited toprocesses, ways of working, documentation and compliancerequirements.

• Strong understanding ofSourcing.Experience inPackagingcategoryand other Supply Categories (Raw materials, Capex)is preferred.

• Advanced business, financial, legal and commercial acumen gained from previousnegotiationson sourcing projects and or contractnegotiations.

• Strong analytical, inter-personal skills, communication skills, negotiation skills and project management experience

• Proven track record of consistent performance and delivery (what & how of performance)

• Mastery ineSourcingtools,Coupaand CSO will bepreferred.

• Able to work proactively and effectively in cross functional and global team at all levels in an organisation.

• Language and cultural skills for the marketssupported.

• Advanced communication and influencingskills.

• Proactive approach with tenacity and drive tosucceed.

• Experience with managingindividualsacross multiple locations and cultures is abenefit.

• Exposure to Alco-Bev industry is preferred

• Lack of prior experience in leading negotiations, sourcing and contracting activity with limited supervision
