Diageo is a global leader in beverage alcohol with an outstanding collection of brands across spirits and beer categories. These brands include Johnnie Walker, Singleton, Smirnoff, Captain Morgan, Baileys, Don Julio, Tanqueray, and Guinness.

Located in Eryuan County in Yunnan, the Diageo Eryuan Malt Whisky Distillery will produce Diageo's first China-origin, premium malt whisky. At more than 2,100m above sea level, the 66,000 square meter distillery will also feature an immersive and interactive visitor experience center that will attract whisky enthusiasts and boost the local cultural tourism industry.

About this role

You will work safely within the team, responsible for production operations, equipment maintenance and quality control to ensure all work meets required standards. You need to work closely with team members to achieve targets in safety, quality, efficiency, cost and equipment maintenance. You will use and input to business systems as required, ensuring 100% compliance to quality standards.

You will be responsible for:

• Adhere to Diageo health and safety, environmental and food safety standards; follow safety and 5S practices to maintain a safe and orderly workplace
• Carry out the entire production process of whisky in accordance with the established production plan
• Operate machines correctly according to standards, understand basic functions and operation methods, reduce setup time
• At all times work to reduce and eliminate waste, work to deliver and beat team targets
• Be flexible with shift work, hand over properly and leave workplace ready for the next shift
• Understand equipment maintenance requirements, perform autonomous maintenance including cleaning, inspection and lubrication, respond to issues promptly
• Responsible for quality control at production line, perform on-site quality testing
• Responsible for changeovers including CIPS-Optimization, provide changeover support across machines and lines
• Drive equipment performance, perform root cause analysis, operator-led asset care, DT recording (tagging), hygiene standards
• Complete short interval control documentation as required, manage personal information in Workday such as P4G and personal details
• Participate in line improvement projects based on skills and experience, coach others in machine operation
• Attend start of shift meetings and team meetings to raise and address performance issues
• Have appropriate behavioral safety conversations, comfortably challenge poor working practices and unsafe behaviors of colleagues and visitors

To be successful in this role, you will need:

• No formal qualifications required; FLT license and NVQ level 2 Food and drink desirable Experience
• Numerical/verbal reasoning
• Computer literate including working knowledge of SAP, Information
• 1+ year experience of shift working in a production team in an FMCG environment
• Competent to understand functions and working of machines including basic level maintenance and lubrication
• Knowledge of process control and operational excellence techniques
• Knowledge of risk standards (Quality, H&S, Environment)

- 按要求做好短周期工作记录并在Workday中管理个人信息,如P4G和个人详细信息

- 根据技能和经验参与生产线改进项目,指导他人操作设备

-参加开班会和团队会议,提高和解决工作绩效问题

-做好安全沟通,敢于指出同事和访客的不良工作习惯和不安全行为

要成功胜任该职位,您需要具备:

- 无特定资格要求,拥有FLT执照和NVQ 2级食品和饮料资格者优先考虑

- 数字/语言推理能力

- 熟悉计算机,包括SAP、Information等工作知识

- 在快速消费品生产团队中有一年以上的轮班生产工作经验

- 能够理解机器的功能和工作方式,包括基本级别的维护和润滑

- 熟悉流程控制和运营改进方法

- 熟悉风险标准(质量、健康安全、环境)
