About the role

In Switzerland, the Field Sales Team plays a meaningful role in the execution of the Key Account Management plans on the point of sale. The team consists of 9 sales representatives who oversee and develop On-Trade outlets across the country. You will lead and motivate the team and enable brilliant execution whilst making sure that the overall targets and objectives are realized.

This role is based in CH and you are expected to be in the field a minimum of 3 days per week.

You and your team will expand our existing customer relationships in On Trade, WHS, C&C.

We are looking for someone who will be "known on the scene" and who keeps their finger on the pulse of the On Trade, constantly finds opportunities and contributes to the expansion of our customers.

  • Deliver field sales performance with a focus on distribution and execution.
  • Deliver strong management by supervising team performance and by defining and implementing action plans with speed in working collaboratively with the Key Account and Customer Marketing teams.
  • Demonstrate strong dedication to Diageo's internal compliance policies.
  • Mentoring of sales representatives based on DWWS (Diageo Way of World-Class Selling).
  • Set talent up for success supported by individual development plans, teamwork, and trustworthy relations.
  • End-to-end responsibility of investment strategy and budget of on-trade outlet universe.
  • Ensure optimal usage of the CRM and supporting tools.
  • Drive accuracy of data input and further optimization of reporting
  • Please note this is a field-based position with travel requirements within Switzerland.

  • Fluent German & French language knowledge and good English language skills
  • Experience in a commercial role, preferably in an FMCG environment.
  • Strong people management capabilities.
  • Solid analytical skills.
  • Ability to interact and deliver changes through different levels.
