About the Team

You'll join a passionate team at the Home of Guinness, working across the Storehouse and St James's Gate Brewery. Together, we share our expertise and passion for beer with visitors, trade partners and the wider beer community, creating memorable connections with Guinness.
About the Role

As Guinness Brewery Ambassador, you'll become a recognised face of the brewery, bringing our beers, brewing heritage and culture to life. Through tours, tastings, training, events and trade engagement, you'll inspire everyone from first-time visitors to bartenders, industry partners and beer enthusiasts.
Role Responsibilities

  • Deliver engaging tours of the Guinness Storehouse and St James's Gate Brewery for visitors, trade guests and VIPs.
  • Host beer tastings and training sessions that bring the St James's Gate Brewery portfolio to life.
  • Act as a senior ambassador and mentor, leading from the front and supporting the wider team.
  • Build strong relationships with sales, marketing and trade teams, becoming a trusted source of beer and Guinness expertise.
  • Represent Guinness through events, PR and media opportunities where required.
  • Engage directly with visitors and the wider beer community, creating genuine connections and memorable experiences.

This is an opportunity to deepen your beer expertise, build your profile within the industry and represent one of the world's most iconic beer brands to consumers and trade partners in Ireland and internationally.

  • Strong beer expertise, including knowledge of beer styles, brewing processes, serving, quality and industry trends.
  • Experience within the beer industry and a genuine passion for Guinness, beer and Irish beer culture.
  • Excellent presentation and storytelling skills, with the confidence to engage and captivate audiences of different sizes and backgrounds.
  • The ability to work independently, take ownership and manage multiple priorities while also collaborating effectively as part of a team.
  • A relevant beer qualification, such as Cicerone Certified Server, or equivalent industry knowledge and experience.

You'll need flexibility to work evenings and weekends. As this is a national role primarily based in Dublin, some national and occasional international travel may also be required.
