About the Function
Financial Controlling and Analysis (FC&A) Tower is part of Global Business Operations and provides oversight on financial activities and controls including general accounting, management and external reporting and financial planning and analysis. The tower is responsible for the interpretation of financial and statutory data, the coordination and management of financial and statutory reporting, the management of the P&L and balance sheet delivering solutions that will increase insight and transparency. Tower responsibilities also include ensuring there is a true and fair representation of business performance at the cut-off point for the period and transparency on financials for Business Performance Management.
About the role
- Drive smooth and accurate month-end closes, including journal entries, reconciliations, and timely financial and statutory report submissions.
- Provide technical accounting support to the FC team and advise other GBO functions (Tax, Group Accounting, etc.) on complex accounting matters.
- Partner with RTR to ensure legal entity financial statements fully and accurately reflect business operations.
- Prepare financial and statutory reports; oversee statutory adjustments and transfer pricing processes.
- Support decision-making with actionable financial analyses, including contributions to the FAC process.
- Ensure processes are accurate, efficient, and compliant with internal (CARM) and external controls, interpreting and implementing Group Accounting standards while communicating requirements to the team.
- Serve as a point of guidance for the team, ensuring adherence to policies and procedures.
About you
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Finance / Accounting/ Business
- Qualified accountant
- 4-5 years' experience in relevant area
- Experience working within an international / multicultural environment
- Exemplary Risk Management (Internal Controls, Managing Risk, Embedding Compliance & Ethics)
- Strong Financial Controlling knowledge (Balance sheet, Group and Local Financial Reporting, Accounting principles)
- Strong analytical skills to be able to see and understand the big picture and deliver high level message, offering solutions for issues
- Proficient English knowledge
