About the Role

As a Financial Controlling Junior Manager, you will play a key role in supporting the Financial Controller in understanding business operations, identifying financial implications, and ensuring these are accurately reflected in both financial and statutory reporting. You will help ensure the integrity, accuracy, and completeness of legal entity financial statements while acting as a trusted advisor on technical accounting matters across the team and region.

You will contribute to strategic decision-making through insightful accounting analysis, promote strong compliance with policies and procedures, and collaborate closely with cross-functional stakeholders across the organization. In addition, you will provide leadership and coaching to team members while supporting both internal and external audit activities.

Key Responsibilities

  • Support month-end close activities, including preparation and review of journal entries, ensuring compliance with accounting standards and PCAOB requirements
  • Ensure financial and statutory reporting processes are delivered accurately, efficiently, and within deadlines, while maintaining strong internal controls and compliance with CARM and external regulations
  • Provide accounting analysis and insights to support business decision-making and the FAC process
  • Act as a technical accounting expert for the Financial Controlling team, offering guidance and support on complex accounting matters
  • Interpret and implement Group Accounting and Reporting requirements, ensuring clear communication and alignment across teams and markets
  • Coordinate and collaborate with cross-functional stakeholders including Tax, Group Accounting, and other finance functions on financial controlling and technical accounting topics
  • Support, coach, and mentor team members on both technical and soft-skill development
  • Delegate and coordinate team activities to ensure effective workload management and operational excellence
  • Support internal and external audit processes by ensuring accurate documentation, controls, and timely responses to audit requests


About you
  • Degree educated in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, or a related field
  • Fully qualified accountant with strong professional expertise
  • 6-7 years of progressive experience in accounting and financial operations
  • Proven experience working in international and multicultural business environments
  • Strong background in Risk Management, including Internal Controls, Compliance, Ethics, and Governance
  • Solid Financial Controlling expertise, covering Balance Sheet management, Group & Local Financial Reporting, and accounting standards/principles
  • Highly analytical with the ability to understand the bigger picture, identify key business drivers, and propose effective solutions
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills with the ability to convey complex financial matters clearly
  • Proficient in English, both written and spoken
