Purpose of the Role:

Provide executive and administrative support to the Diageo Beer & Pre-Mix leadership team including DBP President, VP National Sales, VP Chains, and VP Category Growth and Activation.

High-level administrative support to include administrative and project-based duties that require independent decision-making capabilities and solid judgment. This position is privy to confidential information that requires diplomacy and discretion.

Key Outputs and Deliverables:

  • Ability to exercise considerable judgment and initiative in determining the appropriate approach or action in non-routine situations.
  • Responsible for administrative support and calendar management for North America Diageo Beer Company President (DBP) and DBP leadership
  • Responsible for summarizing the content of incoming materials, specially gathered information, or meetings to assist executives; coordinating new information with background office sources and highlighting important points or conflicts.
  • Ability to handle confidential details and perform administrative functions based on an understanding of company policy and the executive's views and philosophy, are expected at this level of executive assistant.
  • Responsible for scheduling appointments, arranging corporate travel, and maintaining all travel and entertainment records in compliance with regulatory policies.
  • Ability to answer telephone calls professionally, provide information to callers or route calls to the appropriate official, and place outgoing calls.
  • Responsible for preparing reports, summaries, or responses to inquiries by selecting relevant information from a variety of sources.
  • Ability to anticipate and prepare materials needed by executives for conferences, correspondence, appointments, meetings, and telephone calls.
  • Responsible for composing correspondence that requires knowledge of the executive's views, philosophy, and some technical understanding; may sign on behalf of the executive when technical or policy content has been authorized.
  • Attending Leadership meetings and critical meetings as needed, and responsible for organizing regular team meetings, team building activities, and overall meeting logistics as well as managing relationships between DBP and agencies involved in the planning process.
  • Responsible for acting as a bridge for effective communication within all internal departments and external stakeholders.
  • Maintaining contact with visiting guests and entering them in 3WTC security guest list
  • Develop strong partnerships with administrative, executives and overall DBP staff in the US and abroad to obtain and communicate information on executive domestic and international travel dates and agenda planning.


Experience and Skills Required
  • Extensive experience supporting senior executives and managing complex administrative functions.
  • High proficiency in MS Office applications, including Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.
  • Proven ability to interact confidentially and effectively with stakeholders at all levels, both internally and externally.
  • Highly organized with a strong track record of managing complex projects through to successful completion.
  • Demonstrated ability to multitask, with strong interpersonal and organizational skills.
  • Exemplary professionalism, attention to detail, and ability to maintain discretion.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities and projects simultaneously.
