Job Title: Engineering and utility Maintenance Utility Boiler Turbine

About the role:

To ensure uninterrupted availability of Utility Services for the unit, and implement systems in his areas of operation, reduce operating costs and achieve improved standards of quality and EHS.

Role Responsibilities:

  • Ensure availability of Utility operation including Boiler, Turbine, Cooling Tower, WTP plant etc.
  • Ensure operation & maintenance of the services equipment in line with OEM recommendations & or industry best practices.
  • Ensure value for money spent and excellence in quality of workmanship, Identify adequate training and development programs for his team members.
  • To ensure that all statutory requirements, w.r.t. Pollution control, Boiler Inspections and electricals complied with.
  • Identify, plan & implement energy conservation programs in areas of responsibility.
  • Identify, plan & implement EHS initiatives in areas of responsibility.
  • Identify and monitor OEM/outsourced facility management within areas of responsibility.
  • Ensure availability of all Electrical work for process and utility areas, of the right quality.
  • In depth and sound knowledge of Boiler operation/maintenance, Turbine operation/maintenance.
  • Knowledge of high rated DCS operated boiler and turbine.
  • In depth understanding of safe operation of boiler and turbine and its regulatory compliance.


Experience / skills required:
  • In-depth knowledge of operation and maintenance of High pressure solid fired boiler/Turbine/Compressor/Water Treatment Plant/Cooling Tower etc.
  • Maintenance practices, such as, preventive, Predictive, condition monitoring, etc.
  • Knowledge of unit's service requirements
  • Knowledge of good EHS
  • Knowledge of statutory and regulations related to boiler operation and pollution control.
  • Knowledge of best practices relevant to work responsibility.
  • Analytical & troubleshooting skills
  • Project Management skills
  • Energy conservation to optimize utility cost.

EDUCATIONAL QUALIFICATION:
  • B.Tech / Diploma in Mechanical Engineering
  • BOE competency certificate with relevant license.
  • Preference of having Energy and project management certificate.


WORK EXPERIENCE AND RELEVANT INDUSTRY:
  • Minimum 4-8 years of experience in similar profile
  • Preference in exposure in Distillery/Brewery/Power Plant/Fertilizer/Refinery etc.
