About the role

As a Customer Marketing Executive, you will be the critical link between our sales teams and customers at the point of sale. This is where the majority of our advertising and promotional investments generate impact. Shoppers' buying behavior is influenced by what they encounter in-store, often across multiple brands. Your role will be to understand customer and shopper needs clearly, working closely with sales and other marketing teams to design and deploy effective programs and tools that maximize our brands' performance at retail.

You will manage direct relationships with clients, suppliers, and agencies to execute the trade calendar precisely. For key strategic clients, customizing programs and tools to meet their specific needs and enhance their market differentiation will be vital.

Role Responsibilities:

  • Drive and facilitate the implementation of On trade channel commercial activation and growth drivers plan, that is coordinated across functions and guarantees strategic, commercial & brand objectives.
  • Owns planning of activation. Works along with sales team to ensure excellent execution of all activation in outlets, supervises customer trends and competition activation.
  • Leads implementation of key growth drivers' initiatives with focus on 365 Essentials
  • Ensure efficient choice of outlets per brand and segmentation for all sales driver's activation and pouring agreements.
  • Leverage field visits and internal data sources to conduct regular analysis of competition & market to form insights and implications for the business that will drive performance.
  • Highlights opportunities within channel and region of responsibility to Head of Channel and Customer Marketing team to develop most appropriate customer propositions. Conduct relative reporting for commercial activities and distribution to provide insight on any correctional actions.
  • Communication and engagement behind execution plan to sales team
  • Ensure efficient management of all material (allocation, distribution) to sales team/ outlets. Leads all logistics concerning outlet activation (e.g. distribution of POP material, distribution of promotions, etc.)
  • Execution: All logistics concerning outlet activation and set up for success


About you
  • Master Degree in economics or similar
  • 2+ years of experience in Marketing, Trade Marketing or sales roles
  • Strong ability to build trustful, respectful relationships with customers and partners.
  • Skill in identifying and defining growth drivers together with marketing teams to enable successful in-store activations.
  • Solid background collaborating with brands, consumers, shopping behaviors, and external agencies.
  • High personal accountability and drive for excellent performance.
  • Deep FMCG understanding from end to end, with strong numerical aptitude and attention to detail.
  • Proficiency in English and Italian.
