About the Function

Our Corporate Relations (CR) team are reputation experts, shaping and protecting the future of our business and much-loved brands. With the ambition to become a reliable and esteemed consumer goods company, our CR team connects with external collaborators. They lead key relationships with the press, media, investors, government organisations, NGOs, and partners.

Operating across different markets, brands, and business areas including Corporate Communications, Policy and ESG, we collaborate with people all around the world. About the role

Corporate Brand Director leads the development and implementation of the company's corporate communications plan, safeguarding and improving reputation across all partners. This role is responsible for critical messaging, executive positioning, crisis management, and the governance of all corporate communication channels.

Key Responsibilities:

Strategic Leadership

  • Define and lead the organizational communication approach aligned with business priorities and long-term growth ambitions
  • Act as a trusted advisor to the head of management, Corporate Relations Director and Leadership Team on all communications and reputational matters

Reputation, Crisis & Issues Management
  • Lead the identification, management, and mitigation of reputational risks
  • Own crisis communications planning and response, ensuring preparedness and rapid, effective action
  • Provide strategic counsel during high-risk or sensitive situations

Media & External Relations
  • Coordinate media strategy, building positive relationships with key journalists and collaborators
  • Drive proactive storytelling to improve company image and brand equity
  • Supervise and interpret media landscape, identifying risks and opportunities

Executive & Leadership Communications
  • Shape and deliver high-impact communications for the Managing Director and senior leaders, including speeches, town halls, and key announcements
  • Strengthen leadership visibility and credibility through strategic positioning

Owned Channels & Content Governance
  • Lead governance and strategic direction of all company-controlled communication networks (internal and external)
  • Ensure consistency, quality, and alignment of messaging across platforms

Thought Leadership & Corporate Positioning
  • Develop and execute thought leadership strategies that position the company and its leaders as industry voices
  • Identify opportunities for external engagement, partnerships, and speaking platforms

Team Leadership & Collaboration
  • Lead and develop the corporate communications team and agency partners
  • Collaborate cross-functionally with Marketing, HR, Legal, Public Affairs and Commercial


Key Skills & Experience
  • Significant experience in senior corporate communications or public affairs roles
  • Consistent track record in crisis and issues management at a leadership level
  • Exceptional stakeholder management and influencing skills, including C-suite engagement
  • Deep understanding of media, digital, and corporate reputation dynamics
  • Proven leadership and team management capability
