About the role

We are looking for a Commercial Finance Analyst to support the GB Commercial Finance Team.

The role will provide day-to-day financial and analytical support to the commercial finance team and business partner our field sales and key account team. This is a newly created role to enhance reporting, provide insightful data analysis, and support forecasting and process improvements. The role will help the business better understand financial performance and support commercial decision-making and involves business-partnering our field sales and key account teams.

Key Responsibilities

  • Deliver weekly and monthly reporting and analysis
  • Assist with month-end processes, including accruals, reconciliations, and variance analysis
  • Supports OFT activity management
  • Detailed cash / invoicing performance review
  • Support analysis of customer performance
  • Help prepare presentations and reports for commercial and senior stakeholders
  • Maintain accurate financial records and ensure data integrity
  • Support ad-hoc analysis and reporting requests from the commercial finance team
  • Help improve reporting processes and identify automation opportunities
  • Initial support of the creation of a BPM process for field sales and key accounts and then performance manage ongoing.

Ideal Experience / Qualifications / Capabilities
  • Degree (or studying toward) in Finance, Accounting, Economics, Business, or related field
  • Skilled in financial analysis and modelling, with intermediate/advanced excel proficiency
  • Strong understanding of how financial outcomes relate to business drivers
  • Effective communicator, confident in sharing insights with varied stakeholders
  • High attention to detail and accuracy
  • Strong organisational and time-management skills
  • Strong communication and stakeholder management skills.
  • Interest in pursuing a professional finance qualification (ACA, ACCA, CIMA, CPA)
  • Experience in FP&A, management accounting, or commercial finance
  • Exposure to finance systems or reporting tools (e.g., SAP, Power BI, Excel models)
  • Exposure to FMCG
