Role Responsibilities:

  • Accountable for achieving the Annual Operating Plan including Volume, Revenue and Gross Profit, as well as managing A&P spend within budget
  • Lead annual Guinness marketing plan development and present to senior leadership.
  • Responsible for ensuring commercial teams are equipped with the right tools and selling materials to execute sales drivers and local activation
  • Assist in development of brand communications
  • Develop Brand Media and PR plans
  • Responsible for developing through-the-line, consumer centric programs across all retail channels and regions
  • Responsible for leading the innovation and renovation agenda including 3 year pipeline development and managing projects through the Gate process working closely with the Innovation team
  • Responsible for understanding and evaluating the effectiveness of marketing activity and implementing search and spin of proven tactics from other markets
  • Work closely with cross functional teams (Customer Marketing, Finance, Sales and National Chain Account teams) to gain alignment on strategic priorities, ensure plans are actionable, and drive execution
  • Responsible for guarding and maintaining consistent brand identity


Experience / skills required:
  • 5-7 years marketing experience in Consumer Packaged Goods, Bev Alc/Beer or on a lifestyle brand
  • Demonstrated experience of working in a fast paced, dynamic category with a rapid and competitive consumer purchase cycle and has a proven track record of succeeding against market conditions
  • Strong leadership, problem solving, stakeholder engagement and decision-making skills and an effective communicator
  • Proven track record of excellence in converting consumer insights into effective growth drivers
  • Excellent multi-tasker, comfortable working in a fast-paced, entrepreneurial, and matrixed organization who holds themselves to a world class standard of output and demonstrates a relentless desire to deliver the best performing marketing programs
  • Commercially minded and able to analyze in market data, pull out actionable insights, and translate them into activation plans that drive growth
  • Proficiency in French would be beneficial
