About the role:
Directly accountable for the operational responsibilities for all strategic planning, budgeting and execution of activities related to sales, marketing, management and operations of Stitzel Weller Brand Home Experience. Contributes, alongside agency partners and supply counterparts to capital project planning, strategic marketing and financial feasibility of new brand home site. Direct reports include Stitzel Weller Assistant Manager + 10 - 15 employees (all external agency employees). Additionally, the role will lead local KY marketing/ Brand Home ambassador initiatives for the American Whiskey portfolio, as designated by each brand team.

Role:
- Develop & deliver five year business plans for our Stitzel Weller Brand Home to build brand equity, consumer awareness and generate revenues
- Serve as a key member of the brand team on all matters affecting brand homes and fulfillment operations.
- Oversee Direct reports: Brand Home Team & Agency Partners.
Responsibilities:
Planning and Ops
1. Long-Range
- Manage and lead all aspects of the assets assigned to the brand home. This includes strategic plans around guest services (tour program, personnel, brand stores, capital planning ,and events) and facility maintenance outside the scope of the Supply Organization.
- Partner with financial business counter part to ensure due diligence and thorough analysis of all long term projects and proposals.
- Supervise career development and training of brand home staff to ensure their skills continue to grow to meet future demands and changing brand strategy.
- Develop and implement financial reporting KPIs for each brand home location.
2. Annually
- Develop annual operating plans and budgets for brand home
- Continually monitor expenses, cash flows and sales during the fiscal year to maintain a thorough understanding of the business and each department. Provide a Quarterly report overview to the Director of American Whiskey Development regarding operational performance and adherence to budget.
- At each brand store - ensure appropriate inventories are maintained throughout the year and proper retail planning is taking place (seasonal buying& staffing needs etc.)
Sales & Marketing
1. Marketing
- Develop and implement programs that build awareness for brand homes among key media to gain valuable exposure by positioning the facility as a preferred whiskey travel destination.
- Work with agency partners to establish marketing plans and PR activities for brand home.
- Initiate VIP programming for the field sales teams to encourage extensive use of the brand home as a marketing tool for their clients and customers.
- Develop and maintain positive relationships with area CVBs (Local)
2. Sales - Brand Stores
- Manage buyer and on site leadership to create plan-o-grams and long-range brand building model for each brand home store.
- Champion retail sales and buying analysis to build supply chain synergies between sites to ensure effective margins.
Brand Marketing Responsibilities
- Be instrumental in leveraging sponsorships for brands in Kentucky that will gain valuable exposure to our core consumer for each respective brand.
- Maintain budgetary control over "KY Community Relations" account.
- Serve as a spokesperson for American Whiskey Brands
Miscellaneous
- Build working relations between Supply and Demand leadership to ensure effective brand home experiences
