About the role:

Location: Nashik, Maharashtra / Function: HR

Reports to: Senior Manager - Unit HR

Role Purpose:

Manage key IR/ER, statutory compliance, employee welfare, training and engagement activities while partnering with the business to maintain a positive and productive employee environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage Industrial Relations & Employee Relations, including union engagement, grievances, disciplinary cases and workmen issues.
• Ensure compliance with applicable labour laws, statutory requirements, registers, returns, audits and inspections.
• Should be qualified/eligible for Welfare Officer role as per applicable Maharashtra factory requirements.
• Drive employee welfare activities and act as an interface between employees, union and management.
• Plan and execute the annual Training & Development calendar, including compliance and capability-building programs.
• Plan and execute the annual Employee Engagement calendar and employee connect initiatives.
• Manage contract workforce compliance, attendance, manpower and related HR processes.
• Prepare HR/IR dashboards and support manpower productivity and workforce optimization initiatives.
• Support Labour Department interactions, inspections and labour-related cases.

Language Skills - Mandatory

• Marathi - Fluent
• Hindi - Fluent
• English - Good communication skills

Qualification & Experience

• Graduate/Postgraduate in HR, Personnel Management, Labour Welfare, IR or equivalent.
• 6-10 years' experience in HR, preferably in a manufacturing/unionized factory environment.
• Strong knowledge of IR, ER, labour laws and statutory compliance.
• Prior experience in Welfare Officer responsibilities preferred.
