About the role:
Key Responsibilities
- Prepare monthly plant MIS, cost reports, and variance analysis.
- Monitor manufacturing costs and identify cost optimization opportunities.
- Prepare annual budgets, rolling forecasts, and financial projections.
- Review production, material consumption, and inventory reconciliation.
- Ensure timely month-end and year-end financial closing.
- Monitor fixed and variable overheads and drive cost reduction initiatives.
- Manage capital expenditure (Capex), CWIP, asset capitalization, and depreciation.
- Support internal, statutory, and cost audits.
- Ensure compliance with financial controls, SOPs, and company policies.
- Partner with production, supply chain, engineering, and procurement teams to improve plant efficiency.
- Track productivity savings and monitor project financial benefits.
- Prepare business cases for capital investments and cost-saving initiatives.
- Statutory compliance related to plant finance.
- CARM control applicable to unit.
