Overview

Deutsche Bank is seeking a highly motivated Fintech & Platform Sales Associate to join its Corporate Cash Management (CCM) organization within the Corporate Bank. This role supports one of the Bank's most strategically important and fast-growing client verticals: Fintech, Platform and Digital Economy (FPD). In this position, you will work closely with senior sales leaders to originate, structure, and execute complex cash management, liquidity, FX, and payments solutions tailored to high growth digital business models. You will help build strong relationships with clients across the U.S. and globally, focusing on three key pillars: Client Coverage, Deal Execution, and Risk & Governance.

What You'll Do
  • Supporting senior sales leads in developing strong relationships with Fintech, Platform, Payments, and Digital Economy clients as well as gaining knowledge to start handling clients on your own.
  • Conduct research on client business models, payment flows, licensing requirements, and risk considerations to support solution development
  • Prepare client pitch materials, flow diagrams, proposals, and pricing analyses; participate in client meetings, conferences, and industry events to support origination efforts
  • Collaborate with internal partners across Product, AFC, Risk, Legal, Implementation, FX, and Service teams to deliver end-to-end onboarding and cash management solutions
  • Support governance processes including flow writeups, KYC documentation, risk assessments, and approval submissions
  • Track pipeline progress, revenue opportunities, and performance metrics in internal systems; coordinate with global Fintech & Platform Sales teams across regions for multinational client needs
  • Demonstrate ownership in delivery of tasks, client communication, and cross functional coordination
  • Partner with senior leaders to execute U.S. Fintech & Platform Sales growth plans
  • Share knowledge and provide guidance to junior colleagues or new joiners supporting the franchise
  • Apply sound judgment to support onboarding, deal structuring, and risk governance for high growth Fintech models

Skills You'll Need
  • Proven experience in Fintech, Payments, Transaction Banking, Corporate Banking, Treasury, or similar fields
  • Strong understanding of digital business models including PSPs, marketplaces, platforms, acquirers, and wallet providers
  • Ability to analyze payment flows, liquidity structures, FX needs, and risk considerations
  • Strong commercial acumen and ability to support origination and execution efforts
  • Excellent communication, analytical, and organizational skills
  • Familiarity with regulatory topics related to KYC, MSB/VASP considerations, AML, and client risk frameworks
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced and dynamic environment

Expectations

It is the Bank's expectation that employees hired into this role will work in the New York, NY office in accordance with the Bank's hybrid working model.

The salary range for this position in New York City is $97,000 - $136,000. Actual salaries may be based on a number of factors including, but not limited to, a candidate's skill set, experience, education, work location and other qualifications. Posted salary ranges do not include incentive compensation or any other type of remuneration.
