This role requires those who are passionate to learn and succeed at Deutsche Bank. The role involves working in a successful team environment and leading the arranging of complex structured credit transactions in a fast paced and competitive environment. You should have strong communication skills, be analytical, proficient in multi-tasking, self-starters and team players with an emphasis on developing and cultivating client relationships, as well as teamwork and collaboration.
You will be a member of Deutsche Bank's US GTF team, which is part of the broader GCFS Primary franchise. US GTF is #1 Bank in secured aviation finance and aviation ABS and is part of a leading aviation franchise at Deutsche Bank. The role focuses on leading the origination, structuring, syndication, and execution of GTF asset finance and ABS transactions in the aviation sector. You will be responsible for sourcing transactions, covering clients, executing across both financing and ABS, and helping to manage DB risk in the space. You will be responsible for all aspects of deal origination and execution from client acquisition to documenting credit facilities, approving asset fundings, risk managing the credit facilities and structuring, marketing, and closing associated securitizations. In such role, you will interact with a wide variety of stakeholders and transaction participants, both internally and externally, requiring strong communication skills, both written and oral.

What You'll Do
- Interact with a broad range of internal and external transaction participants, including internal and external legal counsel, ABS investors, secondary trading, sales, research, rating agencies, internal risk management functions, credit risk management, financial control, trustees, collateral administrators, corporate service providers and regulatory, tax and accounting professionals
- Develop and cultivate a broad network of direct relationships with both issuers and investors across the wide spectrum of the team's products. Leverage personal industry relationships to drive new deals. Monitoring and reporting on warehouse risk exposure. Obtaining internal transaction approvals from risk management functions, including credit, legal, regulatory, and accounting
- Portfolio analysis. Cash flow scenario analysis. Development of analytical modeling tools
- Reviewing and negotiating legal transaction documentation. Facilitating closing settlement and execution. Performing market research and analytics
- Determining securitization capital structure tranching and optimization. Responding to investor due diligence requests
- Liaising with rating agencies to obtain securitization tranche ratings. External representation of the franchise on industry panels and conferences
How You'll Lead
- Lead the acquisition and negotiation of credit facilities
- Lead transaction approvals with investment committee and credit risk management
- Lead the preparation of securitization marketing materials

Skills That Will Help You Excel
- Undergraduate degree. Prior ABS experience
- Ability to project manage multiple transaction counterparties to meet deadlines. Ability to multi-task while leading concurrent transactions
- Strong attention to detail. Good quantitative skills
- High proficiency in Microsoft Excel - VBA/programming skills a plus, but not essential
- Proficient communication skills, both written and oral. Excellent organization / prioritization skills
Expectations
It is the Bank's expectation that employees hired into this role will work in the New York, NY office in accordance with the Bank's hybrid working model.

The salary range for this position in New York City is $190K to $300K. Actual salaries may be based on a number of factors including, but not limited to, a candidate's skill set, experience, education, work location and other qualifications. Posted salary ranges do not include incentive compensation or any other type of remuneration.
