Provider Advisory Council Program Associate

The Provider Advisory Council Program Associate plays a key role in executing external Provider Advisory Councils and delivering high-impact council events, engagements, and campaigns. This role leads the coordination and production of council activities while managing day-to-day operations that support council effectiveness, member satisfaction, and long-term engagement.

Working cross-functionally with teams across the organization, the Program Associate helps drive council value, industry representation, recruitment, renewals, and retention. This position is also responsible for managing council reporting, project plans, and performance metrics to ensure successful execution and continuous improvement.

Responsibilities:

  • Provide end-to-end operational support for Provider Advisory Councils, including coordination of materials, agendas, minutes, evaluations, surveys, and application reviews.
  • Partner with internal teams such as Relationship and Business Development, Marketing Engagement, and Market Insights to support council initiatives, including pre- and post-event outreach, custom messaging, collateral development, training materials, and video assets.
  • Maintain clear, proactive communication with leadership and key stakeholders by delivering detailed updates, status reports, and reporting data related to council events, marketing activities, and opportunities to enhance council value.
  • Assess communication needs and develop plans for assets, messaging, and channels that support council initiatives and engagement strategies.
  • Manage designated budgets for council initiatives, including vendor coordination and expense tracking.
  • Serve as project administrator for council initiatives by developing and maintaining project plans, coordinating activities, identifying change requirements, and managing the annual council member evaluation process.
  • Implement, track, and report on initiative-based metrics to provide leadership with meaningful insights and progress updates.
  • Manage and maintain council microsite(s), ensuring content is accurate, current, and easily accessible to stakeholders.
  • Support additional external initiatives such as education programs, seminars, and training asset management, as needed.

Qualifications:

Minimum Qualifications
  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Experience in dental insurance or a dental clinical setting.
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities
  • Ability to work during pacific or mountain time zone hours depending on the team member's location.
  • Strong collaboration skills with the ability to coordinate across multiple teams, stakeholders, and organizational levels.
  • Working knowledge of project management best practices, with the ability to manage multiple priorities and maintain thorough documentation.
  • Critical thinking and problem-solving capabilities.
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, evolving environment.
  • Creative, innovative, and solutions-oriented mindset.
  • Excellent organizational and time management skills.
  • Exceptional verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills.
  • Ability to travel up to 25%.
  • Strong proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, including Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.

Base Pay Information

The national base pay range at the end is a good-faith estimate of what Delta Dental may pay for new hires. Actual pay may vary based on Delta Dental's assessment of the candidate's knowledge, skills, abilities (KSAs), related experience, education, certifications, and ability to meet required minimum job qualifications. Other factors impacting pay include prevailing wages in the work location and internal equity.
Pay Grade 15. $40,500 - $84,800
