Sr. Consultant, Core Infrastructure Senior Database Administrator

Position Summary

As an experienced Core Infrastructure Support - Senior Database Administrator you will have the ability to share new ideas and collaborate on projects as a consultant without the extensive demands of travel. Work you'll do/Responsibilities
- Administer and support enterprise database platforms including SQL Server, Oracle, PostgreSQL, and DB2
- Manage installation, configuration, patching, upgrades, and maintenance of database systems
- Monitor database performance, availability, and capacity; proactively identify and resolve issues
- Perform backup, restore, and recovery operations and validate recoverability
- Support high availability and disaster recovery configurations and operational readiness
- Troubleshoot database incidents, outages, performance degradation, and connectivity issues
- Manage database security, access controls, roles, and privileges
- Support migrations, refreshes, cloning, and environment build activities
- Collaborate with infrastructure, network, cloud, and application teams for issue resolution and change execution
- Maintain documentation, runbooks, and operational procedures
- Automate recurring DBA tasks where possible to improve efficiency and reliability

Qualifications
Required
- 8+ years of hands-on DBA experience across SQL Server, Oracle, PostgreSQL, and DB2
- Strong technical exposure to on-prem and cloud platforms such as Azure, OCI, Exadata, and Mainframe
- Relevant database certifications
- Bachelor's degree, preferably in Computer Science, Information Technology, Computer Engineering, or related IT discipline; or equivalent experience
- Limited immigration sponsorship may be available
- Ability to travel 10%, on average, based on the work you do and the clients and industries/sectors you serve
