Senior, Product Strategy Learning Consultant - Tax Transformation

Work you'll do
As a Deloitte Senior, Product Strategy Learning Analyst in the Tax Transformation Office, you will be responsible for:
- Defining and evolving the Tax Transformation enablement strategy for priority tax technology products and process changes, grounded in understanding of tax workflows and user personas; translate complex tax and technology changes into role-based, task-based enablement assets (e.g., in-app guidance inputs, performance support, playbooks, job aids, learning pathways) at scale across virtual, in-person, and digital modalities.
- Ensuring enablement plans align to transformation outcomes (e.g., adoption, utilization, compliance with new standard work, cycle-time reduction) and adjusting the approach based on measured performance; strengthening the operational layer of the Tax Transformation network, highlighting priority features and providing support to accelerate day-to-day proficiency.
- Planning and managing the end-to-end lifecycle for enablement content (intake, scope, schedule, resources, reviews, approvals, and launch readiness) aligned to product releases and deployment milestones; supporting content governance (taxonomy, templates, metadata, review cadence, versioning, and retirement) and partnering to maximize findability and usability.
- Coordinating the learning workstream: consolidating weekly status from 13 workstreams, monitoring milestones, surfacing issues/risks/decisions for leadership, maintaining project plans in Smartsheet, and coordinating team meetings.
- Performing continuous improvement activities: conducting spot checks for quality and consistency, and assessing learning effectiveness.

The team
This role sits within the Service Delivery Transformation pillar of the Tax Transformation Office, as a key member of the People, Change, and Adoption sub-group. Our team's mission is to drive successful adoption of new processes, technologies, and ways of working by preparing, equipping, and supporting Tax professionals through each stage of transformation. Working in close partnership with tax subject matter specialists, graphic designers, technical writers, program managers, organizational change managers, and communications professionals, we deliver learning, change management, and communications initiatives that maximize engagement, understanding, and readiness across the organization. By leveraging the strengths of our diverse team, we ensure that complex transformation efforts translate into practical, lasting improvements for both our teams and clients.
Qualifications
Required:
- Ability to perform responsibilities in a hybrid work environment that requires US Tax professionals to co-locate 2-3 days per week, as needed by the business.
- Bachelor's degree in Business, Information Technology, Human Resources Management, Industrial-Organizational Psychology, Organizational Leadership, Instructional Design/Instructional Technology, or other relevant discipline.
- 3+ years translating process/technology changes into role-based enablement plans and assets aligned to defined adoption/utilization outcomes.
- Proficiency creating learning content using Microsoft PowerPoint and Word; maintaining project trackers and reports using Excel and SharePoint.
- Experience coordinating multi-workstream programs and maintaining plans in Smartsheet or a similar project planning tool for at least 12 months.
- Ability to travel 20%, on average, based on the work you do and the clients and industries/sectors you serve.
- Limited immigration sponsorship may be available.
- One of the following active accreditations obtained, in process, or willing and able to obtain:
- Licensed CPA (if eligible to sit)
- Licensed Attorney
- Enrolled Agent
- Program Management Professional (PgMP)
- Project Management Professional (PMP)
- Lean Six Sigma (Green, Black, or Master Black Belt).
Preferred:
- Experience working within or alongside tax or finance functions in a professional services firm for at least 1 year.
- Experience supporting large-scale transformation initiatives involving technology adoption or process improvement for at least 1 full release cycle.
- Experience with stakeholder measurement and adoption analytics (e.g., usage metrics, satisfaction surveys) using defined KPIs.
- Proficiency with project management and collaboration tools such as Smartsheet or Microsoft Project for at least 1 year.
- Experience creating or maintaining digital learning in Articulate Rise and/or Storyline for at least 6 months.
The wage range for this role takes into account the wide range of factors that are considered in making compensation decisions including but not limited to skill sets; experience and training; licensure and certifications; and other business and organizational needs. The disclosed range estimate has not been adjusted for the applicable geographic differential associated with the location at which the position may be filled. At Deloitte, it is not typical for an individual to be hired at or near the top of the range for their role and compensation decisions are dependent on the facts and circumstances of each case. A reasonable estimate of the current range is $84,980 to $193,440.
You may also be eligible to participate in a discretionary annual incentive program, subject to the rules governing the program, whereby an award, if any, depends on various factors, including, without limitation, individual and organizational performance.
