As a Senior Manager, Solution Delivery in our Finance Operate practice, you will lead the growth and delivery of our Controllership / Record-to-Report managed services offering in the Financial Services Industry. You'll lead complex client solutions and sales pursuits, advise senior client and Deloitte stakeholders, oversee mobilization and delivery excellence, and help build scalable capabilities across the practice.
This role combines deep accounting and controllership expertise, managed services solutioning, Financial Services Industry experience, commercial leadership, executive presence, and the ability to lead complex client engagements and teams.
Work You'll Do
As a Senior Manager, Solution Delivery, you will:
- Own the strategy and execution of complex managed services solutions for Controllership / Record-to-Report opportunities within the Financial Services Industry.
- Lead high-priority business development activities, sales pursuits, proposal development, client presentations, pre-RFP materials, and RFP responses for Finance Operate opportunities.
- Serve as a senior advisor to clients and Deloitte leadership, translating finance challenges into scalable operating models, service delivery approaches, value propositions, and transformation roadmaps.
- Lead Finance Operate pipeline and deal-flow management for the Financial Services sector, including opportunity qualification, pursuit prioritization, solution governance, executive alignment, and handoff to mobilization and delivery teams.
- Oversee engagement mobilization and delivery excellence, including governance, transition planning, service management, operational reporting, quality management, issue resolution, and executive escalations.
- Partner with account and industry leaders to identify growth opportunities, develop client relationships, and expand Finance Operate services.
- Drive standardization, automation, continuous improvement, and technology enablement across finance operations engagements.
- Develop repeatable solution assets, methodologies, delivery approaches, and points of view for Controllership and Record-to-Report managed services.
- Lead and coach teams of managers, consultants, and subject-matter professionals; support talent development, recruiting, staffing, and performance management.
- Contribute to practice growth through thought leadership, internal collaboration, knowledge sharing, and market development activities.

The team
Our Finance Operate offering provides ongoing operation of the finance function as an extension of Deloitte's broader Finance Transformation portfolio. We help organizations improve finance performance through managed services across key domains such as Controllership / Record-to-Report, FP&A, Treasury, and Finance Technology. Our professionals combine finance domain expertise, operational discipline, technology-enabled delivery, and deep industry experiences to help clients achieve sustainable outcomes at scale.
Qualifications
Required:
- Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field.
- 12+ years of experience in accounting, financial reporting, controllership, Record-to-Report operations, finance transformation, or related finance services.
- 8+ years of experience in managed services, shared services, outsourced delivery, finance operations, or related service delivery environments.
- 8+ years of experience working within the Financial Services Industry or serving Financial Services clients.
- Demonstrated experience leading complex solutioning, sales pursuits, transition, mobilization, and/or delivery for finance managed services.
- Experience leading client presentations, proposal development, pre-RFP materials, RFP responses, or comparable business development activities.
- Experience leading teams, complex projects, or multiple workstreams.
- Ability to travel 50%, on average, based on the work you do and the clients and industries/sectors you serve.
- Must be legally authorized to work in the United States without the need for employer sponsorship, now or at any time in the future.

Preferred:
- Master's degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field.
- Active Certified Public Accountant license.
- 15+ years of experience in finance, controllership, managed services, finance transformation, or solution delivery.
- Experience leading complex Finance Operate or finance managed services pursuits from qualification through mobilization.
- Experience developing operating models, service delivery approaches, staffing models, performance metrics, or transformation roadmaps.
- Experience with audit, controllership, finance transformation, or financial services operating model design.
- Experience with enterprise resource planning platforms or finance technologies, including SAP, Oracle, Workday, BlackLine, or OneStream.
- Experience leading process improvement, automation, standardization, or service delivery transformation initiatives.
- Demonstrated success building client relationships and expanding managed services opportunities.
The wage range for this role takes into account the wide range of factors that are considered in making compensation decisions including but not limited to skill sets; experience and training; licensure and certifications; and other business and organizational needs. The disclosed range estimate has not been adjusted for the applicable geographic differential associated with the location at which the position may be filled. At Deloitte, it is not typical for an individual to be hired at or near the top of the range for their role and compensation decisions are dependent on the facts and circumstances of each case. A reasonable estimate of the current range is $148,200 to $292,300.
You may also be eligible to participate in a discretionary annual incentive program, subject to the rules governing the program, whereby an award, if any, depends on various factors, including, without limitation, individual and organizational performance.
