Position Summary

Deloitte Consulting LLP seeks a Senior Manager in Chicago, Illinois.

Work You'll Do
Lead information technology projects for software development and implementation services of SAP products. Lead day to day interactions with executives and sponsors; develop and maintain contact with top decision makers. Manage service excellence by identifying key issues for key accounts, determining project needs by supplementing the standard assessment techniques and tools with innovative approaches, evaluating and validating analysis, and developing recommendations in the context of the overall engagement. Lead aspects of the proposal development process; and develop proposal pricing strategies. Help secure relationships with qualified targets and decision makers to uncover opportunities; manage the pursuit process and act as a key advisor to the pursuit team throughout the sales process. Improve internal processes, and promote knowledge sharing in the team, by contributing to the SAP community of practice, blogs, and other forms of market eminence.

• 50% Travel required nationally
• Telecommuting permitted

Requirements

Master's degree or foreign equivalent in Business Administration, any STEM field, or a related field. Must have 4 years of related work experience in the job offered or in a related occupation. In the alternative, the employer will accept a Bachelor's degree (or foreign equivalent) and 6 years of progressive related work experience.

Position requires 4 years of related work experience in each of the following:

• Utilizing SAP Data Services (DS), Master Data Governance (MDG), S/4HANA, Fiori, Ariba Supplier Lifecycle and Performance (SLP), Governance, Risk, and Compliance (GRC), and Business Technology Platform (BTP) to manage software development and implementation services to address manufacturing, financial, human resources, customer relationship management, supply chain, and other business needs throughout the enterprise;
• Tracking application defects, coordinating defect resolution efforts and documenting resolution details, utilizing HP Application Lifecycle Management (ALM), Rally, Atlassian Jira, ServiceNow, and SAP Solution Manager (SolMan);
• Performing role of counselor and coach, actively participating in staff recruitment and retention activities, providing leadership and support for teams and staff in local offices;
• Organizing and leading pursuit teams, leading proposal development efforts, and contributing to the development of proposal-pricing strategies;
• Delivering components of client engagements that identify, design, and implement creative business solutions for large companies utilizing SAP Business Process Modeling (BPM);
• Leading global project teams and project delivery; tracking and resolving key issues and risks to budget, scope and resources, utilizing Rally, Jira, ServiceNow, and SAP SolMan;
• Developing practical solutions and methodologies, developing "thought-ware" and "point-of-view" documents and participating in public speaking events; and
• Developing and executing networking strategies, sales tracking mechanisms, pitch presentations and document analysis, aimed at increasing client engagements.

Other
Annual Salary: $175,700.00 - $292,900.00.
