SAP PP/DS Senior Consultant

Work you'll do/Responsibilities

As a Senior Solution Specialist at Deloitte, you will work within an engagement team and be responsible for supporting the overall project goals and objectives. In this role, you will interact with stakeholders and cross-functional teams. It is expected that you will be able to perform independent tasks as well as provide technical guidance to team members, as needed.

Enterprise Operations as a Service provides multi-year managed service contracts to support enterprise technology investments and key business processes. We ensure continuous modernization and transformative business changes through five key services: SAP Operations, Oracle Operations, IT Operations, Supply Chain Operations, and Finance Operations. Qualifications

Required

• 6+ years of strong expertise in SAP S/4HANA PPDS configuration, heuristics, optimization, and block planning
• Master data management, including resources, PDS, production versions, and work centers
• Integration knowledge with core SAP modules (SD, MM, QM, Production, IBP)
• Experience with CIF (Core Interface) processes and troubleshooting
• SAP Fiori and SAP GUI navigation and issue resolution
• Basic ABAP debugging for root cause analysis
• Monitoring and supporting batch jobs, queues, and planning runs
• Familiarity with ticketing and ITSM tools (e.g., ServiceNow)
• Ability to analyze system logs, errors, and job traces (e.g., SM37, ST22)
• Performance tuning of PPDS optimizer
• Bachelor's degree, preferably in Computer Science, Information Technology, Computer Engineering, or related IT discipline; or equivalent experience

• Limited immigration sponsorship may be available
• Ability to travel 10%, on average, based on the work you do and the clients and industries/sectors you serve

• Analytical ability to manage multiple projects and prioritize tasks into manageable work products
• Can operate independently or with minimum supervision
• Excellent Written and Communication Skills
• Ability to deliver technical demonstrations
