Work you'll do

As an Industry Solutions Senior Consultant specializing in Life Sciences, you will play a pivotal role in helping clients transform their operations. You will lead and deliver complex projects that drive innovation, regulatory compliance, and operational excellence for pharmaceutical, biotech, and medical device organizations. Leveraging your expertise in life sciences, you will collaborate with cross-functional teams to design and implement solutions that address evolving industry challenges. Key responsibilities include:

  • Project Leadership: Lead the delivery of and pharmacovigilance projects, including business process transformation, technology enablement, and regulatory compliance initiatives for life sciences clients.
  • Client Engagement: Serve as a trusted advisor to clients, understanding their business needs, identifying opportunities for improvement, and presenting actionable recommendations.
  • Solution Design: Develop and implement innovative solutions for adverse event case management, data automation, AI-enabled platforms, and process optimization.
  • Stakeholder Management: Facilitate collaboration among client stakeholders, internal teams, and third-party vendors to ensure project alignment and effective communication.
  • Change Management: Drive adoption of new processes and technologies through training, documentation, and hands-on support.
  • Regulatory Compliance: Ensure all solutions and processes meet global regulatory requirements (e.g., FDA, EMA, PMDA) and industry best practices.
  • Data Analysis & Reporting: Analyze data, assess operational performance, and deliver insights through dashboards and executive reports.
  • Mentorship: Support the development of junior consultants and contribute to knowledge sharing within the practice.

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering, or related field
  • 4+ years of experience in life sciences, pharmacovigilance, or consulting
  • 4+ years of experience implementing and working with project management & resource management platforms such as Planisware or Microsoft Project Online
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Suite (Word, Excel, Power Point)
  • Knowledge of global regulations and guidelines such as ICH, FDA, EMA, PMDA, etc.
  • Ability to travel 50%, on average, based on the work you do and the clients and industries/sectors you serve
  • Limited Sponsorship may be available

Preferred Qualifications

  • 4+ years of experience with hands on Planisware experience (resource management & financial management experience)
  • Advanced degree (e.g., MBA, PhD)
  • Experience with project management tools such as Jira or Confluence
  • Experience implementing AI-based or automated case processing solutions.
  • Experience managing and delivering via an Agile/Scrum methodology

The wage range for this role takes into account the wide range of factors that are considered in making compensation decisions including but not limited to skill sets; experience and training; licensure and certifications; and other business and organizational needs. The disclosed range estimate has not been adjusted for the applicable geographic differential associated with the location at which the position may be filled. At Deloitte, it is not typical for an individual to be hired at or near the top of the range for their role and compensation decisions are dependent on the facts and circumstances of each case. A reasonable estimate of the current range is $107600-$198400
