Work You'll Do

As a US Delivery Center Consultant on the team, you will:

We are seeking a mid-level Network Engineer to support the design, engineering, and implementation of network infrastructure solutions for a Federal Government Client. This role focuses on network architecture, technology integration, modernization, and deployment activities across LAN, WAN, wireless, and cloud-connected environments. The ideal candidate has experience with network design, configuration, testing, and migration efforts in support of infrastructure transformation initiatives.

Key Responsibilities:
• Design and implement network infrastructure solutions including routers, switches, firewalls, VPNs, and wireless technologies
• Develop configuration standards and support deployment of network hardware and software in accordance with project requirements
• Perform network assessments, analyze existing environments, and recommend design improvements and modernization strategies
• Support network upgrade, migration, and integration efforts across multiple sites and environments
• Develop and validate technical designs, implementation plans, and engineering documentation
• Conduct testing and validation activities to confirm network performance, functionality, and compliance with design specifications
• Collaborate with cybersecurity, systems engineering, and project teams to align network solutions with program objectives
• Produce and maintain network diagrams, configuration baselines, and technical documentation required for project delivery
• Support change implementation planning, cutover activities, and transition coordination with client stakeholders

It leverages Deloitte's scale and talent, as well as a center delivery model to provide high-quality, cost-effective service with standardized processes and procedures to service businesses across Deloitte.

Qualifications

Required:

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent relevant experience
  • Must be legally authorized to work in the United States without the need for employer sponsorship, now or at any time in the future
  • Must be able to obtain and maintain the required clearance for this role
  • 4+ years of experience in network engineering, infrastructure implementation, or network modernization efforts
  • 4+ years of expereince in TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, VLANs, routing, switching, and VPN technologies
  • 4+ years Experience with enterprise network platforms
  • 4+ years experience with network security architecture, segmentation, and secure design principles
  • 4+ years experience with supporting network deployment, integration, testing, and technical documentation

  • 2+ years experience wwith wireless networking and cloud networking concepts is preferred
  • Relevant certifications are a plus
