Work you'll do
As a Senior Manager in the Infrastructure & Real Estate team, you will have the opportunity to work on diverse projects across various industries and collaborate with colleagues globally. The successful candidate will:
Client Service Delivery
- Lead complex advisory engagements focused on capital program strategy, planning, delivery, project controls, risk management, procurement, and operational performance
- Provide subject matter expertise in engineering, project management, and infrastructure delivery to help clients improve outcomes across large-scale construction or capital development portfolios
- Develop diagnostic assessments, maturity models, performance baselines, and actionable implementation roadmaps
- Serve as a trusted advisor to senior executives, agency leaders, and project sponsors
- Oversee engagement economics, quality, and delivery risks while ensuring exceptional client service
Practice & Team Leadership
- Manage and mentor consulting teams; provide real-time feedback and support career development pathways
- Lead cross-functional collaboration with adjacent offerings (e.g., Government & Public Services, Real Estate Transformation, Operations Transformation, Human Capital, and Analytics)
- Contribute to the development of methodologies, tools, and accelerators that enhance delivery consistency and thought leadership
Business Development & Market Growth
- Identify, qualify, and pursue new opportunities within existing and prospective client accounts
- Lead proposal development, solution design, and client presentations
- Maintain relationships with industry stakeholders, partners, and ecosystem collaborators to support Deloitte's market presence in key sectors (transportation, energy, utilities, water, public infrastructure, industrial, and more)
- Assist in shaping the go-to-market strategy for Infrastructure & Capital Projects services
Thought Leadership & Eminence
- Develop insights on current and emerging industry themes such as digital capital project delivery, alternative delivery models (DB, CMAR, P3), resilience and sustainability, megaproject governance, and advanced analytics
- Publish articles, present at industry conferences, and engage in market forums to position Deloitte as a leader in infrastructure advisory.
The team
Our Infrastructure and Real Estate team are trusted advisors to clients in managing physical assets throughout their lifecycle. We help them unlock value from their real estate portfolios and functions by developing strategies, optimizing operating models and organizational design, and leveraging technology enablement.
Qualifications required:
• Bachelor's degree in Engineering (Civil, Mechanical, Electrical, Industrial, or related discipline)
- 10+ years of experience in capital projects, engineering, construction management, infrastructure delivery, or advisory roles
- Experience in a professional services / consulting environment OR in a senior role within an infrastructure owner/operator, developer, or major capital program organization
- Demonstrated expertise in one or more of the following areas:

- Capital program strategy, governance, and controls
- Project management or project controls (cost, schedule, risk)
- Construction management and delivery oversight
- Procurement and contracting strategy
- Portfolio optimization or capital planning
Preferred:
- Advanced degree (MS Engineering, MBA, Construction Management, or related field)
- Professional certifications such as PE, PMP, CCM, CCP, PSP, PMI-RMP, or equivalent
- Experience with digital tools and platforms supporting capital projects (e.g., Primavera P6, PMIS tools, cost systems, advanced analytics, Power BI)
- Sector experience in transportation, energy, water, utilities, industrial facilities, or public infrastructure
- Demonstrated ability to develop eminence and contribute to business development initiatives
You may also be eligible to participate in a discretionary annual incentive program, subject to the rules governing the program, whereby an award, if any, depends on various factors, including, without limitation, individual and organizational performance.
The wage range for this role takes into account the wide range of factors that are considered in making compensation decisions including but not limited to skill sets; experience and training; licensure and certifications; and other business and organizational needs. The disclosed range estimate has not been adjusted for the applicable geographic differential associated with the location at which the position may be filled. At Deloitte, it is not typical for an individual to be hired at or near the top of the range for their role and compensation decisions are dependent on the facts and circumstances of each case. A reasonable estimate of the current range is $175,700 to $292,900.
