Our Hybrid Cloud Infrastructure/Connected Edge offering delivers specialized engineering capabilities to design, implement, manage, and operate hybrid cloud environments. We modernize networks and AI infrastructure from the core to the edge and develop new infrastructure and device services to help clients stay ahead with the latest technology advancements.

As Senior Consultant at Deloitte, you will be responsible for individually delivering high quality work products within due timelines in an agile framework. Need-basis consultants will be mentoring and/or directing junior team members/liaising with onsite/offshore teams to understand the functional requirements.

Work You'll Do:

  • Device integration: Ensuring seamless integration of various IoT devices and sensors (across industries like ER&I, Consumer/Retail etc.) for multi-modal data aggregation
  • Platform engineering: Systems integration and configuration of devices with unified gateways and IoT platforms to enable multi-protocol integration and data fusion
  • Deployment of E2E hyperscaler solutions: Integration of E2E hyperscaler solutions for IIoT and multi-modal device management systems in an edge environment
  • Configuration and optimization: Configuration in control/mgmt. plane, health check and automation to ensure optimal performance
  • Design and Develop Architectures: Develop and implement data fabric architectures that support efficient data management and integration from diverse sensor sources
  • Security Management: Implement and manage security best practices and compliance requirements
  • Collaboration: Work closely with infra engineers and OT/IT teams to ensure proper sensor integration and functionality
  • Troubleshooting: Diagnose and resolve complex technical issues.

Skills utilized:

  • Device Integration: Strong experience integrating devices and systems using protocols such as OPC-UA, AMQP, Zigbee, MQTT, Modbus, DPN3, LoRAWAN, DDS, and EMPP
  • Platform engineering: Experience working in IoT platforms (e.g., ThingWorx, PTC Kepware etc.)
  • Deployment of E2E hyperscaler solutions: Experience working with cloud platforms such as AWS IoT Core, SiteWise, Google IoT core, Azure IoT etc.
  • Deployment of IoT solutions on edge computing solutions (g., Jetson Nano, Qualcomm RB5, Dell Native Edge etc.)
  • SCADA/IIoT systems: PLC programming and Ladder logic implementation
  • Data Fabric Architectures: Ability to create Functional/non-Functional requirements, System Architecture Diagrams, Component Diagrams, Interface agreements etc.
  • AI/ML: Proficiency in using statistical and machine learning techniques to evaluate and improve the performance of IoT edge solutions

Required Qualifications:

  • 6 plus years of experience working designing, implementing, and managing IIoT systems; integrating devices; data processing and troubleshooting IIoT platforms
  • Ability to present solutions at ARBs (Architecture Review Board)
  • Work with client OT/IT counterpart to successfully design/integrate/support IIoT solutions
  • Knowledge and experience working with Microsoft Office tools
  • A bachelor's degree in computer science, Electrical Engineering, Data Science, or a similar field, or equivalent experience
  • Ability to travel up to 50% Nationwide

  • Adaptability: Ability to quickly adapt to changing client requirements and emerging technologies.
  • Project Leadership: Demonstrated leadership in managing client projects, ensuring timely delivery and client satisfaction.
  • Business Acumen: Understanding of business processes and the ability to align technical solutions with client business goals.
  • Certifications: Showcasing specialized knowledge and readiness through completion of relevant IIoT certifications/ work with industry standard bodies

Wages + Salary

The wage range for this role takes into account the wide range of factors that are considered in making compensation decisions including but not limited to skill sets; experience and training; licensure and certifications; and other business and organizational needs. The disclosed range estimate has not been adjusted for the applicable geographic differential associated with the location at which the position may be filled. At Deloitte, it is not typical for an individual to be hired at or near the top of the range for their role and compensation decisions are dependent on the facts and circumstances of each case. A reasonable estimate of the current range is $ 125,000 to $ 208,300. You may also be eligible to participate in a discretionary annual incentive program, subject to the rules governing the program, whereby an award, if any, depends on various factors, including, without limitation, individual and organizational performance.
