Position Summary
Join Deloitte's Finance Transformation practice to help CFOs and enterprise leaders modernize finance. You'll advise, implement, and operate solutions that improve finance, shared services, and real estate operations-using predictive and generative AI, analytics, and modern platforms to enable faster, data-driven decisions and measurable performance gains.

Work you'll do
As a Senior Consultant on the Finance AI team, you will be responsible for:
- You will collaborate with clients to evaluate, pilot, and implement predictive and generative AI technologies and other finance technology enablers.
- You will apply advanced analytical techniques to diagnose issues, quantify impact, and develop solution approaches.
- You will conduct interviews and working sessions with client stakeholders to capture requirements and insights.
- You will formulate, present, and iterate on actionable recommendations and implementation roadmaps.
- You will support delivery and deployment of AI-enabled solutions, including proofs of concept and scaled releases.
- You will translate designs into product backlogs and phased plans in partnership with data science, engineering, and finance teams.

Using scalable data and technology platforms, we generate insights and analytics, streamline decision-making, and enable data-driven profitable growth. We also manage risks and opportunities across complex grant programs with end-to-end grants management solutions.

The Finance AI team focuses on automating, accelerating, and augmenting the finance function through data and AI models. We support CFOs in meeting growing demands for real-time financial decision-making by advising, implementing, and operating innovative AI solutions to keep finance dynamic, forward-looking, and integral to business success.
Qualifications
Required:
- 3+ years of experience in consulting within a professional services firm or industry deploying AI or other technical solutions.
- 1+ years of experience architecting generative AI solutions across infrastructure (e.g., AWS, GCP, Azure), model (e.g., GPT-4o, Claude, Llama), and application layers (e.g., ChatGPT, Claude, Gemini).
- 1+ years of experience building systems on public cloud platforms (AWS, GCP, or Azure).
- Experience developing AI solutions (proofs of concept and/or scaled solutions) that demonstrate value using generative AI.
- Experience with product prototyping and design mockups using tools such as Figma.
- Bachelor's degree from an accredited university in Business, Computer Science, Data Science, or a closely defined field.
- Ability to travel 25-50%, on average, based on the work you do and the clients and industries/sectors you serve.
- Limited immigration sponsorship may be available.
Preferred:
- Education and certifications: Bachelor's degree from a STEM-designated program; master's degree preferred. One or more AI/ML certifications (e.g., AWS, Google, Microsoft Azure).
- Finance transformation and delivery: Experience across accounting, ERP/EPM implementation, data management/analytics, and project delivery; experience supporting pre-sales (proposals, RFPs).
- GenAI and automation use cases: Experience identifying/prioritizing generative AI use cases using value frameworks; designing proofs of concept including agentic AI for end-to-end process automation; defining and tracking KPIs for generative/predictive initiatives.
- Engineering and integration: Experience integrating applications/services using APIs; creating technical documentation and user guides.
- Responsible AI: Knowledge of practices for training, evaluating, and deploying generative AI responsibly and ethically.
- Productivity tools: Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, Teams).
The wage range for this role takes into account the wide range of factors that are considered in making compensation decisions including but not limited to skill sets; experience and training; licensure and certifications; and other business and organizational needs. The disclosed range estimate has not been adjusted for the applicable geographic differential associated with the location at which the position may be filled. At Deloitte, it is not typical for an individual to be hired at or near the top of the range for their role and compensation decisions are dependent on the facts and circumstances of each case. A reasonable estimate of the current range is $124,950 to $208,250.
You may also be eligible to participate in a discretionary annual incentive program, subject to the rules governing the program, whereby an award, if any, depends on various factors, including, without limitation, individual and organizational performance.
