As A Senior Consultant, you will help lead workstreams within the context of a larger engagement, gathering and analyzing information, formulating and testing hypotheses, developing actionable recommendations, presenting to client stakeholders and implementing recommendations. You will work in a team-based environment, partnering directly with clients, fellow Operations & Technology Transformation practitioners, and Deloitte consultants from complementary disciplines. Successful candidates will accomplish these objectives through their experience leading or supporting multiple Epic implementations, including the following activities:

- Epic software analysis, design, configuration, testing, and implementation as well as application support and issue resolution
- Interacting with Operational and IT personnel in identifying, evaluating and configuring systems to meet user and organizational requirements
- Maintaining high credibility and ownership of system activities within assigned application
- Working directly with Operations and provides input on system design and capabilities
- Developing system design, including functional specifications and strategies, based upon the analysis of specific operational needs

Qualifications
Required:
- Bachelor's degree
- 4+ years of professional experience in a health care or consulting setting
- 4+ years of experience with large scale healthcare system implementations with understanding of the software implementation lifecycle in healthcare systems (electronic health records/EHRs, clinical, revenue cycle systems, etc.
- 4+ years in a client-facing role with the ability to collaborate closely with others and act as a partner or liaison
- 4+ years of experience with various phases of the healthcare implementation lifecycle, from system selection to implementation sequencing and planning, project management, application & technical design, interface & data conversion, application build, environment management, testing, go live planning, etc.
- Epic certifications and/or experience implementing Epic applications within Clinical, Revenue Cycle or Technical
- Experience leading or supporting multiple Epic implementations
- Experience with EHR vendors such as Epic, Cerner and Allscripts
- Proficiency with Microsoft PowerPoint, Microsoft Word and Microsoft Excel
- Ability to travel 50%, on average, based on the work you do and the clients and industries/sectors you serve
- Must be legally authorized to work in the United States without the need for employer sponsorship, now or at any time in the future.
Preferred:
- Advanced Degree such as MBA or MHA
- Experience conducting interviews with key stakeholders to understand and document the current business process
- Experience defining future state business process
- Experience planning, tracking and delivering projects using Microsoft Project and documenting processes in Microsoft Visio
- Experience managing and delivering via an Agile/Scrum methodology
- General understanding or familiarity with virtual health, cloud, interoperability, data analytics, and/or automation a plus
The wage range for this role takes into account the wide range of factors that are considered in making compensation decisions including but not limited to skill sets; experience and training; licensure and certifications; and other business and organizational needs. The disclosed range estimate has not been adjusted for the applicable geographic differential associated with the location at which the position may be filled. At Deloitte, it is not typical for an individual to be hired at or near the top of the range for their role and compensation decisions are dependent on the facts and circumstances of each case. A reasonable estimate of the current range is $107,600 to $198,400.
You may also be eligible to participate in a discretionary annual incentive program, subject to the rules governing the program, whereby an award, if any, depends on various factors, including, without limitation, individual and organizational performance.
