Position Summary
Deloitte Digital's Innovation & Design Strategy group seeks ambitious designers to help us imagine and bring to life future products, services, and experiences across industries like healthcare, technology, finance, and more.
Innovation & Design Strategy is the human-centered design group within Deloitte Digital - Deloitte's creative consultancy. We have spent 30+ years pioneering the field of innovation and design with proven and tested design thinking assets and capabilities to push the boundaries of human-centered design.
As a Junior Design Strategist, you will be part of our integrated, multi-disciplinary teams, contributing to the conception, design, and launch of solutions to answer our clients' most complex challenges. A Glimpse of the Work You'll Do
- Support the creation of compelling and intuitive stories that are told through presentations, posters, videos, and more
- Develop materials that bring to life concepts and prototypes of products, services, and experiences at varying levels of fidelity to test with users and stakeholders
- Support the design of engaging workshops with internal teams, clients, and other stakeholders
- Be involved in different aspects of the design process, including field research and the launch and scaling of solutions in-market
- Support the development of design frameworks that build our clients' internal innovation capabilities
- Work with a diverse team of experts, including from Deloitte's global network of industry and domain experts, to amplify the impact of your work
- Hone your craft and explore new design methods, tools, and programs including Figma Design and the Microsoft Suite
- Support the design of client pitches and Deloitte intellectual property by developing and applying consistent and compelling visual language and creative
- Work generatively with distributed teams using collaboration tools like FigJam, MURAL, Microsoft Teams, and more.
- Conduct product management and design tasks to develop digital and product solutions

Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree completed by August 2026 in Design (Communication, Information, product, UI/UX, Industrial, Graphic), Fine Arts, Human-Computer Interaction, Architecture, or related field
- A portfolio demonstrating strong visual & graphic communication skills that show work in human-centered design, concept development, and/or product design and prototyping with overall compelling visual and written elements, with strong command of composition, typography, and color
- Must be legally authorized to work in the United States without the need for employer sponsorship, now or at any time in the future
- Strong academic track record (cumulative GPA of 3.0 required, 3.3 cumulative GPA preferred)
- Ability to travel up to 50%, on average, based on the work you do and the clients and industries/sectors you serve
The wage range for this role takes into account the wide range of factors that are considered in making compensation decisions including but not limited to skill sets; experience and training; licensure and certifications; and other business and organizational needs. The disclosed range estimate has not been adjusted for the applicable geographic differential associated with the location at which the position may be filled. At Deloitte, it is not typical for an individual to be hired at or near the top of the range for their role and compensation decisions are dependent on the facts and circumstances of each case. A reasonable estimate is $90,000.
