Work you'll do


As a Consultant, Project and Program Management on the Human Capital Program Major Programs and Portfolio Management (MPPM) team, you will be responsible for supporting complex transformation initiatives, delivering project management activities across agile and traditional environments, and helping clients achieve business outcomes through structured execution.

  • Manage day-to-day interactions with client stakeholders, sponsors, and project leaders.
  • Support delivery of client engagements focused on technology and business solution implementation.
  • Develop and maintain project plans, schedules, resource assignments, and key deliverables.
  • Track project progress, identify variances, and coordinate corrective actions to address risks and issues.
  • Facilitate requirements, design, testing, training, and support activities across project workstreams.

The team


The Human Capital Program Major Programs and Portfolio Management (MPPM) team helps clients deliver large-scale transformation initiatives with greater structure, visibility, and accountability. The team supports program and project management efforts across technology-enabled engagements, with a focus on driving execution, improving productivity, and helping organizations manage complex business change.


Qualifications


Required:

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience in computer science, engineering, or another technical discipline
  • 2+ years of experience supporting program or project management activities in a Project Management Office, consulting, or industry environment
  • 2+ years of experience gathering, documenting, and managing business or functional requirements
  • 2+ years of experience using project management tools such as Microsoft Project, Smartsheet, or Jira
  • 2+ years of experience supporting agile, traditional, or hybrid software development life cycle delivery
  • Ability to travel 0-50%, on average, based on the work you do and the clients and industries/sectors you serve.
  • Must be legally authorized to work in the United States without the need for employer sponsorship, now or at any time in the future.

Preferred:

  • 2+ years of experience supporting Human Capital technology implementations
  • 2+ years of experience coordinating activities across cross-functional project teams
  • 2+ years of experience developing project schedules, status reporting, and risk logs
  • Experience supporting testing, training, and deployment activities for technology-enabled projects
  • Experience working with executive stakeholders and client decision-makers
  • Project Management Professional (PMP), Certified ScrumMaster (CSM), or comparable certification


Compensation and Incentive Disclosure


The wage range for this role takes into account the wide range of factors that are considered in making compensation decisions including but not limited to skill sets; experience and training; licensure and certifications; and other business and organizational needs. The disclosed range estimate has not been adjusted for the applicable geographic differential associated with the location at which the position may be filled. At Deloitte, it is not typical for an individual to be hired at or near the top of the range for their role and compensation decisions are dependent on the facts and circumstances of each case. A reasonable estimate of the current range is $78,700 to $155,100.

You may also be eligible to participate in a discretionary annual incentive program, subject to the rules governing the program, whereby an award, if any, depends on various factors, including, without limitation, individual and organizational performance.
