Commercial Engineering Lead

Position Summary

Our Deloitte AI & Engineering team to transform technology platforms, drive innovation, and help make a significant impact on our clients' success. You'll work alongside talented professionals reimagining and reengineering operations and processes that are critical to businesses. Your contributions can help clients improve financial performance, accelerate new digital ventures, and fuel growth through innovation.

Work You'll Do

The team requires a leader with expertise, direct client environment knowledge, and relationships (and credibility) across client cloud enterprises to rapidly grow, standardize, identify cost savings, and establish operational governance. Experience doing this previously for the client provides credibility and will lead for additional growth in the subsector. As the client standardized cloud and requires rapid adoption, knowledge, client credibility, and relationships are critical.

• Advisor to Client Enterprise Architecture
• Trusted Advisor to Clients on all Transformation Efforts
• SME and Advisor to Account Team on Project, Program, and Delivery Team
• SME and Advisor on staffing and delivery model
• Interpret and troubleshoot technical issues
• Create and present technical presentations to clients
• Leading development efforts in support of the client solution
• Partner with peers to create and develop the best solution based on client requirements

Firm

• Pre-eminent Technical Advisor Across the Firm
• Solution Architect for Business Development efforts across Security sector
• Trusted Advisor to Accounts and Leaders
• SME and Liasson to Commercial and Global efforts
• Advisor on partner and teaming strategy

Practice

• Market Leader for Practice
• Practice Owner
• Develops Practice Growth Strategy
• Staffing Advisor to Accounts and individuals.
• Conducts Senior Level Technical Interviews
• Advises Alliance Manager and Lead Alliance Partner on marketing, GTM strategy, recruiting, business development, etc.

Our Engineering as a Service offering provides end-to-end design, implementation, and technology operations, leveraging our core engineering expertise. We help transform engineering teams, modernize technology, & deliver complex programs with a product engineering mindset. Our flexible delivery models- traditional teams, pools, or pods, are tailored for each client's needs, offering engineering-led Advise, Implement, & Operate capabilities to accelerate innovation.

Qualifications

Required:

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience
• Must be able to obtain and maintain the required clearance: Top Secret/SCI with Polygraph
• Must be legally authorized to work in the United States without the need for employer sponsorship, now or at any time in the future
• Ability to travel 20-50%, on average, based on the work you do and the clients and industries/sectors you serve
• 8 + years of experience in leading IT solutions and platform engineering in the federal intelligence space
• 8 + years of experience managing and directing technical professionals on large scale mission systems

Preferred:

• Displays both breadth and depth of knowledge regarding functional and technical issues
• Experience presenting to clients or other decision makers to sell ideas to various audiences (technical and non-technical)
