Audit & Assurance - PSP Summer 2027 - Minneapolis
Position Summary
The Premier Student Program (PSP) is a unique opportunity for qualified college students to gain valuable insight into a career in public accounting, the auditing profession, and the culture of Deloitte. The PSP will entail participation in a series of 5-6 social and educational events during the summer where you will be able to learn more about our firm and available career opportunities, as well as meet and network with Deloitte personnel. In addition, participants will be paired with a Deloitte professional over the summer who will assist them in assimilating to our firm culture.
This program is separate from our internship positions and students will not be compensated for their participation in our Premier Student Program. As such, students are not limited from participating in other summer programs, including those with the other Big 4 firms. At the end of summer, PSP participants will be eligible to receive a full-time offer of employment upon successful completion of the program and completion of their degree.
The successful PSP participant will have:
- Demonstrated effective verbal and written communication skills
- Proven leadership skills demonstrating strong judgment, problem-solving, and decision-making abilities
- Proven experience working independently and managing multiple assignments in a dynamic environment

Qualifications
Required:
- Pursuing a Bachelor of Science/Business Administration in Accounting or related field
- Definitive plans to meet minimum educational requirements for CPA licensure (which may differ from the educational requirements to sit for the CPA exam) in the state of your assigned office location prior to beginning full-time employment
- Limited immigration sponsorship may be available
- Strong academic record, cumulative GPA of 3.0 or above
- Candidates must be at least 18 years of age at the time of employment
Preferred:
- Pursuing a Master of Science in Accounting or related field
- Cumulative GPA of 3.2 of above
- Relevant work experience or work experience in a professional environment (e.g. internships, summer positions, school jobs)
- Demonstrated recent leadership role(s), such as in a campus club, society, sports teams or other activity
