Patient Care Technician (OCDT) - Skilled Nursing Dialysis (DSD)

3-4 Days A Week, 12+ Hour Shifts -

Location: 4320 Bridgetown Road, Cincinnati, OH 45211 + Nearby Sites

MUST BE OCDT CERTIFIED IN THE STATE OF OHIO

DaVita Kidney Care is bringing our industry-leading clinical quality to patients on-site at skilled nursing facilities (SNF) through a new team called DaVita Skilled Nursing Dialysis Services. Approximately 10% of all dialysis patients reside in a SNF and are transported to dialysis three times a week placing a significant burden on patients and adding significant avoidable costs to the health care system. DSD Services teammates will have access to all the capabilities and resources DaVita has to offer, and will work to quickly leverage these to develop the infrastructure and rapidly grow the new service line. Ideal teammates will have significant experience within DaVita, get energized by a start-up type environment and improving the lives of patients, and have a track record of finding ways to GSD. Teammates must be comfortable working autonomously and have demonstrated the ability to collaborate with cross-functional resources across the Village.

What you can expect:

In this role, you take responsibility for the complete ongoing care of each patient to ensure their dialysis treatment stays on track. PCTs will work in conjunction with dialysis RNs to provide dialysis care.

Your primary work schedule will be Full-Time

Operations function Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday, Friday and Saturday. Scheduled days will vary based on market needs. The PCT will be based out of one location - Hillebrand Nursing and Rehabilitation Center , and may be asked to travel to additional locations depending on business need.

Patient Care: Spending the majority of your day in direct one-on-one patient care to provide safe, comfortable and hygienic dialysis treatment.

Complexity: DSD Dialysis care is a complex but fulfilling service line. Meeting and/or exceeding clinical outcomes are the goals and multitasking is an expectation to meet the needs of the service, the patients and our SNF partners.

What You'll Do:

• Hands-On Patient Care: Deliver direct, one-on-one dialysis care in SNFs.
• Work with Purpose: Help patients receive safe, hygienic, and effective treatments in a comfortable environment.
• Be a Key Player: Support dialysis RNs and collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to improve outcomes.
• Use Your Skills: Monitor patients, record vital signs, manage equipment, and contribute to patient health and safety.
• Scheduling: Full-time. Den is open Monday-Saturday. Schedule varies based on need and your availability.

What You'll Need:

• OCDT Certification in the State of Ohio (Required)
• High school diploma or equivalent
• Basic computer proficiency (MS Word, Outlook)
• Strong communication, multitasking, and critical thinking skills

Nice-to-Haves:

• Background in healthcare education or training
• Experience in SNFs or with DaVita's dialysis systems
