Role Overview
In Revenue Operations at DaVita, a function critical to the success of the organization and spanning 2,000+ teammates, we have embarked on a multi-year period of significant digital transformation driven by advancing technology. We are seeking a strategic leader for the role of Director, Talent and Organizational Development to be the key architect of our people strategy through this evolution.
This Director will lead a multi-functional team while serving as a trusted advisor to operations leaders, translating strategic goals into actionable people strategies. This is a role for a forward-thinking leader who can define the future of work for our team, ensuring our organization is aligned, adaptive, and equipped for sustainable success.
Areas of Responsibility
1. Strategic Workforce Planning & Organizational Design
- Define the Future of Work: Develop the strategy, approaches, and tools that enable leaders to design tech-enabled organizations that unlock the benefits of innovation and advancing technology.
- Organizational Design: Serve as a key architect in shaping our transformation, ensuring the organization is aligned and adaptive by evolving workforce plans, job roles, and team structures to maximize effectiveness.
- Workforce Planning Models: Create and implement comprehensive workforce planning models to anticipate future needs, analyze capability gaps, and ensure a sustainable talent pipeline.
- Role Evolution Strategy: Identify how roles and responsibilities evolve as we adopt new tools, and build guidance to support career mobility, upskilling, and development in a supportive and empowering way.
- Capability Strategy: Drive reskilling, upskilling, and talent mobility initiatives to close critical capability gaps and facilitate career progression for all teammates.
- L&D Oversight: Oversee the Learning & Development function, ensuring all programs (onboarding, professional development, and leadership training) are engaging, modern, and directly aligned with strategic transformation requirements.
- Growth Culture: Develop and implement comprehensive workforce development strategies that bolster internal mobility and nurture continuous growth and learning.

- Lead Critical Transformation: Drive the people side of critical transformations (tech, digital, pillar initiatives) with structured, high-impact change strategies and roadmaps.
- Executive Advising: Serve as a trusted advisor to business leaders, translating goals into people strategies and leading complex programs with clarity and focus.
- Change Methodologies: Partner with technology teams to deliver consistent messaging, tools, and learning solutions that drive engagement and adoption.
- Teammate Experience: Champion and execute strategies to enhance overall culture and engagement across revenue operations.
- Communications: Direct internal communication strategies, ensuring clarity, transparency, and timely dissemination of organizational updates, strategic changes, and culture initiatives.
- Gatherings & Events: Oversee the planning and execution of all major team gatherings and events.
- Team Leadership: Lead, coach, and develop the team responsible for L&D, Communications, Teammate Experience, Gatherings, and Administrative Support, ensuring operational excellence across all functions.
- 10+ years of progressive experience in Talent Management, Organizational Development, or Strategic HR roles within a large, complex organization (1,000+ employees).
- Demonstrated Expertise: Proven experience leading Organizational Design and Workforce Planning initiatives tied to major digital or technological transformation.
- Change Management Proficiency: Prosci or similar structured Change Management certification/experience is highly preferred.
- Executive Consulting: Proven ability to serve as a trusted advisor to executives, translating complex business goals into clear, focused people strategies.

The Salary Range for the role is $97,000.00 - $153,000.00 per year.
