Vendor Account Senior Manager, Provider Digital Operations

The Vendor Account Senior Manager role encompasses ownership of managing relationships with third-party vendors to ensure optimal performance, compliance, contracting and alignment with organizational goals to ensure the delivery of exceptional provider experiences and operational excellence. This role serves as the primary liaison between the company and its vendors, overseeing contract negotiations, performance monitoring, and issue resolution.Key Responsibilities:
- Vendor Relationship Management: Build and maintain strong, strategic relationships with key vendors. Act as the main point of contact for all vendor-related communications. Coordinate monthly and quarterly health checks and business reviews with vendors.
- Contract Oversight: Negotiate, review, and manage vendor contracts and service level agreements (SLAs) to ensure favorable terms and compliance with company policies.
- Performance Monitoring: Track vendor performance using KPIs and scorecards. Conduct regular business reviews and audits to ensure service quality and adherence to contractual obligations.
- Issue Resolution: Address and resolve vendor-related issues promptly, escalating when necessary to ensure minimal disruption to operations.
- Cross-Functional Collaboration: Work closely with procurement, legal, finance, and operational teams to align vendor services with business needs.

- Ensure ongoing compliance through annual security risk assessments, user entitlement validation, recertification, business continuity planning, and process documentation.
- Coordinate responses to compliance incidents, including potential PHI breaches and audits.
- Identify project stakeholders, establish effective communication channels, and manage expectations.
- Monitor expenditures and ensure adherence to financial constraints throughout the project lifecycle.
- Prepare and present progress reports to stakeholders and senior management.
- Develop and implement mitigation strategies to minimize risks and ensure project success.
- Identify opportunities for process improvement and implement best practices, lessons learned, and industry standards.
- 5+ years of experience in vendor management, procurement, or account management within the healthcare industry.
- Strong negotiation, communication, and analytical skills.
- 3+ years experience in contract management and performance tracking.
- Knowledge of industry-specific regulations (e.g., HIPAA for healthcare, GDPR for data privacy).
- Certification in vendor management or procurement (e.g., CPM, CPSM) is a plus.
- Commercial and Medicare Line of Business experience preferred.
- Bachelor's degree preferred/specialized training/relevant professional qualification.
The typical pay range for this role is:$67,900.00 - $199,144.00
This pay range represents the base hourly rate or base annual full-time salary for all positions in the job grade within which this position falls. The actual base salary offer will depend on a variety of factors including experience, education, geography and other relevant factors. This position is eligible for a CVS Health bonus, commission or short-term incentive program in addition to the base pay range listed above.
