Aetna Clinical Quality, a part of Aetna Clinical Enablement, has an exciting opportunity available for Nurse Educators. The individual in this role will support an enhanced performance review initiative aimed to establish a comprehensive quality assurance framework across Commercial, Medicare, and IFP lines of business. The primary objective of this initiative is to improve operational quality focused on performance management and process improvement. The Nurse Educator will focus on coaching, remediation, and education of clinical staff, closing the feedback loop and reducing repeat errors. This role will be responsible for educator led training to address root causes of clinical errors, turn audit insights into actionable coaching, drive sustained performance improvement, work toward behavior change to improve audit results, and provide ongoing education to ensure nurses stay current with complex and evolving clinical guidelinesDevelops and builds upon relationships with internal peers, cross-departmental business partners, and leadership. The Nurse Educator must be innovative and not afraid to challenge existing ways of working to continuously improve and enhance our care model and care delivery mechanisms.Required Qualifications
- Registered Nurse that must hold an unrestricted license in their state of residence
- 5 years' managed care experience, which can include Case Management, UM, Precert
- Ability to innovate and ideate solutions to operational challenges
- Ability to effectively communicate
- Strong technical skills and proficiency in the utilization of Excel, Word, PowerPoint
- Demonstrated relationship management skills
- Strong organizational and time management skills
- Training experience
- Quality management experience
- Demonstrated experience in understanding and application of performance management tools and tactics (data, trending, process improvement)
- QuickBase experience
Bachelor of Science in Nursing Anticipated Weekly Hours

Full timePay Range
The typical pay range for this role is:$66,575.00 - $142,576.00This pay range represents the base hourly rate or base annual full-time salary for all positions in the job grade within which this position falls. The actual base salary offer will depend on a variety of factors including experience, education, geography and other relevant factors. This position is eligible for a CVS Health bonus, commission or short-term incentive program in addition to the base pay range listed above.Our people fuel our future.
