Defines and communicates the long-term strategy for application development, aligning it with the organization's overall goals and objectives.
Manages and oversees the day-to-day activities of the application development team, ensuring they are delivering high-quality and timely solutions.
Analyzes industry trends and emerging technologies to identify opportunities for innovation and improvement in the application development process.
Allocates resources and sets priorities for development projects, ensuring optimal utilization of skills, budget, and personnel.
Conducts risk assessments and establishes governance processes to mitigate potential risks and ensure compliance with industry standards and regulations.
Collaborates with senior management and business leaders to understand their application needs and requirements, subsequently ensuring that the development team delivers solutions that meet the identified client needs.
Communicates regularly with external partners, vendors, and clients to foster positive relationships, gather feedback, and align development efforts with customer expectations and business objectives.
Develops and mentors team members, providing coaching and guidance to enhance their skills and foster a high-performance culture.
Approves and reviews project deliverables, ensuring they meet the required quality standards and align with the organization's overall technology strategy.Required qualifications:
o 7+ years of software development experience in enterprise/web applications
o 5+ years of experience as full stack developer in Java-based technologies including microservices, FAST API and spring boot framework /REST
o 5+ years of experience Cloud Technologies like Azure, GCP or other public cloud services and Knowledge of open-source packages especially those provided by Apache, Google, and Spring
o 2 + years of experience in React, React TypeScript, React JS, Python, Nodejs or other front-end frameworks; ability to develop effective engineering practices and processes with responsive UI design and development

o 3+ years of experience in Agile development practicesPreferred Qualifications
5+ years, including 2+ years of leading projects or managing directs
Experience with emerging cloud platform technologies such as: AWS Web Services, Microsoft Azure, Google Cloud, GKE, Google DBs (Bigquery, Spanner, BigTable) or other PaaS technologies

The typical pay range for this role is:$118,450.00 - $236,900.00
This pay range represents the base hourly rate or base annual full-time salary for all positions in the job grade within which this position falls. The actual base salary offer will depend on a variety of factors including experience, education, geography and other relevant factors. This position is eligible for a CVS Health bonus, commission or short-term incentive program in addition to the base pay range listed above.
