Sr. Manager, Program Manager (Medicare)

Senior Program Manager for Resources for Living is a high impact role, and we are in search for professional to lead programs, projects and initiatives within Medicare business unit, and particularly those related to Medicare Star Ratings, quality improvement, and compliance. The Senior Program Manager will perform varied activities and moderately complex administrative, operational, member and/or project management, with responsibilities including developing and managing strategies and collaborating with cross functional teams. They will be responsible for ensuring that all. Work assignments involve moderately complex to complex issues where the market research of situations or data requires an in-depth evaluation of variable factors.
Primary Responsibilities:
• Program management: Develops, implements, and follows established guidelines/procedures for implemented programs.
• Monitor open commitments and lead follow up with managing risk for resolutions, partner with Stars quality leads and assist Resource for living team with data requests & analysis
• Primary contact between Medicare business units and internal business partners
• Provide expert advice, analytic and consultative support to business to improve quality of services provided( set of KPIs, metrics, specification, processes, and policies used for escalations)
• Efficiently manage cross functional relationships, business needs and reports performance issues to quality and leadership
• Shares program management best practices with the organization, informally or through structured knowledge sharing.
• Leads or participates in continuous improvement initiatives.
Required Qualifications
- 5+ years' experience collaborating with vendor or project management using industry-standard project management tools
- 5+ years' experience managing diverse assignments and multiple priorities at the same time
- 5+ years directly managing large, high visibility, complex enterprise-level programs/projects are required.
- 5 or more years in Medicare Supplemental filed benefits or Health plan operations
- Knowledge of CMS requirements for Complaints, Grievance and Appeals timelines.
- Prior experience in healthcare project management in Medicare Advantage Supplemental benefits
- Experience with Microsoft Office applications including Word, Excel, PowerPoint and project management and/or consulting experience
- Track record of implementing positive improvements and execution
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
- Initiative-taking self-starter and problem solving passion with minimal guidance
- Must be enthusiastic about contributing to an organization focused on continuously improving healthcare experiences
- Bachelor's Degree, preferably in healthcare or other business-related discipline
The typical pay range for this role is:$82,940.00 - $182,549.00
This pay range represents the base hourly rate or base annual full-time salary for all positions in the job grade within which this position falls. The actual base salary offer will depend on a variety of factors including experience, education, geography and other relevant factors. This position is eligible for a CVS Health bonus, commission or short-term incentive program in addition to the base pay range listed above.
