Senior Analyst, Value Based Contracting

The Value-Based Contracting Team is accountable for analysis of medical costs across lines of business, supporting data for the right pricing and to develop medical cost savings initiatives. As a Senior Analyst you will partner with a wide range of business units across the enterprise including other Value-Based Contracting areas and Negotiators.The Value Based Contracting, Senior Analyst is responsible for the management of the monthly CTR attribution review process in partnership with the attribution team, the CTR team and other support groups.The Value Based Contracting, Senior Analyst is responsible for additional ad hoc analyses to address impactful root causes of attribution.
The Value Based Contracting, Senior Analyst will lead enhancements projects and assist the manager in process improvements.The Value Based Contracting, Senior Analyst serve as a Contract Term Repository (CTR) and VBC SME on complex questions, and guide and train other team members as needed.This Senior Analyst will assist by working alongside the VBC CTR team, as well as other VBC Shared Services groups to further expand on the current established processes.
This Senior Analyst will operate with a continuous improvement mindset looking for opportunities to improve process inefficiencies, simplify data visibility, and champion quality assurance processes.*Candidate must be located close Hartford, CT and willing to be on-site at the Hartford, CT location 3 days a week.
Required Qualifications
- 3-5 years work experience.
- Experience in VBC Models of Care.
- Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Excel and SQL.
- Experience communicating effectively across many levels within the organization, including SR Managers, Lead Directors and Executive Directors.
- Experience influencing decisions by creating a strong case for action, using analytical findings based on a strong VBC and financial acumen.
- Advanced skills in Microsoft Office Products (Excel, PowerPoint, Access)
- Knowledge of VBA, SQL, or related applications.
- Knowledge of VBC models and Finance.
- Advanced analytical Skills.
- Self-starter with ability to work with team members or independently on multiple projects with little supervision
- Strong Organizational and Time Management skills.
- Team Building Skills: ability to partner across departments to drive decisions.
- Be able to communicate effectively with a diverse audience
- Be resourceful and can quickly and successfully adapt to change
- Bachelor's degree required or equivalent experience
- Master's degree preferred
- An equivalent combination of education and experience may be considered

Full timePay Range
The typical pay range for this role is:$46,988.00 - $112,200.00This pay range represents the base hourly rate or base annual full-time salary for all positions in the job grade within which this position falls. The actual base salary offer will depend on a variety of factors including experience, education, geography and other relevant factors. This position is eligible for a CVS Health bonus, commission or short-term incentive program in addition to the base pay range listed above.Our people fuel our future.
