As we seek to simplify a complex healthcare system for the patients we serve, while providing meaningful work that differentiates us from other retail employers, empowering our people plays a critical role to business success.The unplanned store closure and retail operations support team is a dynamic team within Retail Store Operations aimed to support the business and our retail colleagues by working cross-functionally to analyze the outputs of our current temporary store closure reporting tools, create insights and reporting to highlight risk, and create awareness across senior leaders to facilitate quick action and minimize business disruption.Keeping our colleagues at the heart of everything we do, the retail store businesss continuity team will support heightened visibility and allow execution of more immediate actions to minimize business and customer disruption by providing data driven insights. The purpose of this team is to support field and store follow up and action to address temporary closures, evolving processes as needed to streamline operations and deliver optimal outcomes.This position will collaborate across various stakeholder groups including but not limited to; store operations, real estate, communications, change management, and IT partners to ensure our store and field leaders have a clear and actionable strategy to minimize business disruption and customer impact due to temporary store closures, including creation of and general oversight of temporary store closure tactics and playbooks, with the responsibility of making recommendations for updates/revisions of the playbooks and store processes as needed. This manager will need to work independently to manage and execute the strategy, juggling multiple partners to ensure timely execution, follow up, and escalation if needed. The manager will need to independently identify partnerships needed as store closure escalations arise and be able to action quickly engage the right stakeholders in creating a solution. The manager will liaison the field communications and soliciting feedback from field leaders at all levels, managing multiple cross-functional partnerships that impact operations across all retail stores. Where needed, the manager will also lean in to support the adaptation of store checklists and tools to simplify and streamline store execution.Under the direction of the Retail Store Business Continuity Sr. Manager, this colleague will work independently to manage and execute the strategy, partnering cross-functionally to devise and deploy key initiatives aimed to intercept, predict, and minimize business disruptions due to unplanned temporary store closures that impact store and field colleagues across our 9,000+ retail locations.Responsibilities

Tactical Project Execution
- Collaborate on the creation of strategic roadmaps and playbook to support managing temporary store closure decisions and aftermath, shaping store responsibilities, routines and execution, balancing short term execution with long term strategies
- Partner with Communications to leverage outputs of current temporary store closure reporting tools and coordinate communications as needed
- Execute on tactical steps within project plans with minimal support
- Partner across departments in the enterprise (Store Operations, HR, TA, field) to support the execution of project plans
- Partner with IT to develop requirements as needed for projects
- Partner with Sr. Manager to communicate plans, risks, and opportunities from working team up to executive leadership
- Executes a prioritized roadmap that successfully delivers the company's ambitions, including changes in products, policies and/or processes across our ecosystem.
- Leads and participates in meetings/calls with corporate partners and retail executives
- Follows up on strategic initiatives and KPI performance
- Support the Retail Store Business Continuity Sr. Manager in crafting and adapting the temporary store closure playbook and reporting, and managing communications touchpoints for field support, creating field communications where needed
- Facilitate the creation of field facing materials with cross-functional Communications partnership for key touchpoints such as:
- Sr Leader Field meetings
- Leadership conferences
- Quarterly field calls
- Support the Retail Store Business Continuity Sr. Manager in developing an effective field communication strategy for alerting leaders to potential store closures not reported, as well as anticipate broader market impacts from temporary closures
- Support reporting and analysis for deep dive/follow up questions related to temporary and unplanned store closures, and state-of-the state and progression towards shared goals
- Adapt current reporting to inform strategies to predict and mitigate closures, in addition to identify trends to reinforce hiring and TA strategies as well as field reeducation
- Translate data insights into meaningful insights and actions
The successful candidate will have a strong work ethic, be a self-starter, and able to be highly productive in a dynamic, collaborative environment. The ideal candidate will have the following knowledge / skill / ability:
- 5+ years of full-time work experience in a retail and/or corporate environment
- 5+ years experience building strategies and influencing without authority
- 5+ years experience building high-performing teams
- 5+ years experience engaging and inspiring teams to achieve both short-term, and long-term goals
- 2+ years experience in synthesizing data analytics to create meaningful business insights
- 3+ years of retail business operations, including Pharmacy
- Bachelors degree, or equivalent experience
- Travel requirements - up to 25% travel expected
- Demonstrated growth mindset and willingness to learn and accept feedback
- Proven track record of high performance
- Expertise leveraging MS Office Suite, including advanced Excel and PowerPoint capabilities
- Regular and reliable attendance during normal working hours, as established by the leader
- Self-directed requiring little direction
- Leverages a continual improvement mindset to create simplicity and improve the colleague and customer experience
- Strong interpersonal skills as demonstrated by successful collaboration to achieve shared goals

Full timePay Range
The typical pay range for this role is:$60,300.00 - $159,120.00This pay range represents the base hourly rate or base annual full-time salary for all positions in the job grade within which this position falls. The actual base salary offer will depend on a variety of factors including experience, education, geography and other relevant factors. This position is eligible for a CVS Health bonus, commission or short-term incentive program in addition to the base pay range listed above.Our people fuel our future.
