And we do it all with heart, each and every day.Position Summary:The Executive Director, Retail Pharmacy - Chief of Staff will play a pivotal role in shaping and executing the Pharmacy Growth Strategy for CVS Health. Reporting directly to the SVP, Pharmacy Growth, this leader will serve as a key member of the Pharmacy Growth Leadership Team, driving strategic initiatives that accelerate growth, enhance competitive positioning, and deliver measurable business outcomes.Primary Job Duties & Responsibilities:
- Oversee and direct high-level business development strategies to achieve critical organizational objectives and growth targets.
- Lead and partner on cross-functional initiatives with senior leaders across PCW and CVS Health.
- Direct team efforts to identify emerging trends, customer needs, and competitive dynamics to strengthen business development capabilities.
- Monitor and analyze KPIs, financial metrics, and industry benchmarks to assess performance and identify opportunities for improvement.
- Conduct competitive analysis to identify threats and opportunities, providing actionable recommendations to maintain a competitive advantage.
- Cultivate strategic partnerships and alliances to enhance capabilities, expand customer base, and drive innovation.
- Provide strategic insights and recommendations to senior management, ensuring alignment with organizational goals.
- Set agendas for leadership meetings and Town Halls; partner with presenters to ensure materials are prepared and SVP is briefed.
- Oversee strategy and collaboration for all functional communications.
- 15+ years of experience in pharmacy, healthcare, or a related field.
- Proven ability to lead large-scale strategic initiatives and deliver measurable results.
- Strong financial acumen with experience in P&L management, forecasting, and budgeting.
- Expertise in data analytics and business intelligence tools (e.g., Tableau, Power BI).
- Proficiency in strategic planning frameworks (e.g., SWOT, Porter's Five Forces).
- Advanced skills in project management methodologies (e.g., Agile, Lean Six Sigma).
- Strong understanding of market research techniques and competitive analysis.
- Skilled in contract negotiation and partnership development.
- High proficiency in MS Office Suite and collaboration platforms (e.g., Teams, SharePoint).
- Exceptional communication skills (written, verbal, and presentation).
- Demonstrated ability to influence and collaborate with executive-level stakeholders.
- Mastery of problem-solving, decision-making, and change management.

The typical pay range for this role is:$131,500.00 - $303,195.00
This pay range represents the base hourly rate or base annual full-time salary for all positions in the job grade within which this position falls. The actual base salary offer will depend on a variety of factors including experience, education, geography and other relevant factors. This position is eligible for a CVS Health bonus, commission or short-term incentive program in addition to the base pay range listed above.
