Shift Hours: 2nd Shift - 5PM - 1AM OR 6PM - 2PM
Work Location: In person, Indianapolis IN 46219A Brief Overview:The Conveyor Mechanic is responsible for the inspection, maintenance, troubleshooting, and repair of conveyor systems and related material-handling equipment in the CVS Distribution Center. This role helps ensure all conveyor equipment operates safely, efficiently, and with minimal downtime to support the smooth flow of products through the facility.What you will do:
- Perform routine inspections and preventive maintenance on conveyor systems, sorters, scanners, and related equipment.
- Troubleshoot and repair mechanical and electrical issues involving belts, bearings, motors, rollers, drives, and control systems.
- Respond promptly to breakdowns to minimize operational disruptions.
- Complete all work orders accurately in the Enterprise Asset Management (EAM) system.
- Assist in equipment upgrades, modifications, and installations.
- Maintain an organized inventory of parts and tools needed for conveyor maintenance.
- Follow OSHA regulations, lockout/tagout procedures, and CVS Health safety protocols.
- Work closely with other maintenance team members to support overall facility operations.

- High school diploma or equivalent required; technical training in industrial maintenance preferred.
- Minimum 2 years of experience in conveyor or material-handling equipment maintenance.
- Strong knowledge of mechanical and electrical systems; PLC experience is a plus.
- Ability to read and understand technical manuals, schematics, and wiring diagrams.
- Skilled in using hand tools, power tools, and diagnostic equipment.
- Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced environment.
- Perform other duties as assigned by Team Lead or Manager.
- Ability to stand, bend, and lift up to 50 lbs regularly.
- Comfortable working in warehouse conditions, including varying temperatures and elevated areas.
- Ability to work on ladders, platforms, and in confined spaces.

The typical pay range for this role is:$18.50 - $35.29This pay range represents the base hourly rate or base annual full-time salary for all positions in the job grade within which this position falls.
