The Client Advocate supports service & administration of Meritain products to achieve client satisfaction and profitable growth by building relationships with assigned clients, brokers and internal partners, monitoring activity and reporting for the assigned book of business, proactive & reactive support of client issues and supporting client retention.Responsibilities

  • Services assigned book of business.
  • Acknowledges customer's inquiry within one business day.
  • Creates and maintains PDET (Product Design Engineering Technology) cases as outlined in policy guidelines.
  • Acts as the single point of contact for client's operational inquiries and escalated issues. Resolutions to include (but not are not limited to) claims, enrollment, ID cards, COBRA (Consolidated Omnibus Budget Reconciliation Act), FSA (Flexible Spending Account), network operations, PBM (Pharmacy Benefit Manager), customer service, EDI (Electronic Data Interchange) files, and finance.
  • Provides plan document interpretation and ensures the client's questions are addressed.
  • Conducts client portal training.
  • Supports operational departments to enhance the member experience through improved workflows and process improvements.
  • Identifies opportunities that support account owners in developing and delivering strategic plans.
Required Qualifications
  • 1-3 years of experience working with health insurance.
  • 1-3 years of experience working with claims.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Previous experience with stop-loss products.
  • Ability to meet deadlines.
  • Decision-making skills.
  • Conflict resolution, flexibility, time management, and active listening skills.
  • Knowledge and experience with administrative operations.
  • Professional written & verbal communication skills.
  • Experience in Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Teams.
  • DG & Salesforce experience.
  • General knowledge of Meritain applications.

The typical pay range for this role is:$43,888.00 - $102,081.00This pay range represents the base hourly rate or base annual full-time salary for all positions in the job grade within which this position falls. The actual base salary offer will depend on a variety of factors including experience, education, geography and other relevant factors. This position is eligible for a CVS Health bonus, commission or short-term incentive program in addition to the base pay range listed above.Our people fuel our future.
