Job Summary:
Under direct or close supervision, follow established procedures and guidelines to receive, handle, store, perform system transactions and dispatch goods in a factory or warehouse. Receive incoming goods; check for damage and for discrepancies between goods and invoices. Accurately sort, label, and store goods; arrange storage to optimize warehouse space. Pick, pack, and dispatch outgoing goods according to written or verbal requests or orders.
We are looking for a talented Warehouse Clerk to join our Distribution business in (Quebec, QC).
Will make an impact in the following ways:
- Complete receiving, handling, storing and dispatching goods in a warehouse
- Perform picking, packing and shipping utilizing warehouse tools and systems
- Maintain detailed records of goods, transactions and inventory accuracy
- Adhere to Cummins Health, Safety & Environmental policies
- Ongoing development on standard work, processes, and safety practices
- Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work environment
In order to be successful in this role you will need the following:
- Follows established procedures and guidelines for warehouse operations
- Detailed understanding of basic warehouse processes (receiving, storing, picking, shipping)
- Proficient experience with warehouse tools, systems and equipment (or willingness to learn)
- Ability to perform quality checks for damage and discrepancies between goods and invoices
- Strong teamwork, communication, and accountability skills
