DESCRIPTION
We are looking for a talented Transportation Administrator to join our team, specialising in Logistics for the Transport Office in Daventry, United Kingdom.
This is a 12-month on-site/office contract role, working Monday to Friday 7am - 3pm / 2pm - 10pm with weekly rotation.
In this role, you will make an impact in the following ways:
- Ensure Timely Shipments: You'll process and coordinate domestic/international shipments efficiently, helping maintain smooth logistics operations.
- Manage Transportation Bookings: You'll arrange transport with external freight forwarders, ensuring cost-effective and timely delivery.
- Raise Customs Requests: You'll handle customs documentation to support compliant and uninterrupted international shipping.
- Support Customer Service: You'll communicate with Customer Services to resolve queries and ensure customer satisfaction.
- Follow Up on Documentation: You'll manage customer follow-up documentation, contributing to transparency and accountability.
- Promote Team Collaboration: As a team player, you'll work closely with colleagues to meet shared goals and improve processes.
- Apply Excel Expertise: Your understanding of Excel will be critical for tracking shipments, analysing data, and generating reports.
- Champion HSE Standards: You'll actively engage in Health, Safety & Environmental practices, reporting hazards, and promoting a safe work environment.

QUALIFICATIONS
Education/Experience:
- A high school diploma or certificate of completion of secondary education is preferable.
- Equivalent work experience or intermediate-level knowledge gained through education, training, or on-the-job experience is required.
- Proficiency in Microsoft applications, especially Excel, and advanced computer skills are essential.
