DESCRIPTION

We are looking for a talented Field Sales Account Executive to join our team specializing in Sales for our Mining and Industrial Department in Kitwe, Zambia.

In this role, you will make an impact in the following ways :

  • Drive Business Growth : By proactively prospecting and developing new opportunities, you'll expand the customer base and open doors to untapped markets.
  • Build Strategic Relationships : Your ability to develop and strengthen customer relationships will position you as a trusted advisor, ensuring long-term partnerships and repeat business.
  • Deliver Tailored Solutions:Using your understanding of customer needs and priorities, you'll identify and present Cummins solutions that create measurable value for clients.
  • Achieve and Exceed Sales Targets : Through disciplined execution of account plans and the Cummins Sales Process, you'll consistently meet or surpass revenue goals.
  • Champion Customer Satisfaction : By responding promptly to concerns and collaborating internally to resolve issues, you'll enhance customer experience and loyalty.
  • Provide Market Insights:Bringing emerging customer and market needs to leadership will help shape future strategies and product offerings.
  • Ensure Financial Health : Your role in negotiating terms, managing receivables, and resolving delinquent payments will contribute to strong cash flow and reduced risk.
  • Mentor and Lead by Example:Sharing best practices and guiding less experienced account executives will strengthen the team and elevate overall performance.

QUALIFICATIONS

Education/ Experience

  • Bachelor's degree in engineering or business field
  • 5-7 years' experience in a senior sales role
  • Knowledgeable or exposure to mining business
  • This position may require licensing for compliance with export controls or sanctions regulations
