We are looking for a talented Metrology Technician to join our Metrology team at Cummins in Ciénega de Flores, NL (Blvd. Nexxus 2505 Cienega, De Flores, 65550 Mexico, N.L.)

Education/Experience:

• High school, technical high school, and/or technical degree, TSU

In this role, you'll make an impact in the following ways:

• Managing equipment calibrations and studies, as well as on-site measurement, inspection, and testing.

• Maintaining and calibrating equipment, as well as performing on-site measurement, inspection, and testing.

• Programming and performing measurements on CMM equipment.

To succeed in this role, you'll need the following:

• Knowledge of geometric tolerances.

• Basic PC programming skills-Demis and Calypso.

• Knowledge of calibration and maintenance of measuring equipment.

• Knowledge of Microsoft Office (Excel).

• Knowledge of MSA (intermediate level).

• Knowledge of calibration software.

Measurement Science - Analyzes measurement processes throughout the relevant traceability chain to identify and quantify sources of measurement uncertainty relevant to the appropriate applied measurement science, "Metrology," such as chemical, dimensional, electrical, mechanical, optical, radiation, and physical metrology.
